This didn't work out for me personally, but a lot of people like to use it.

Checking in for an update- As a fellow reducer with an adhesive sensitivity, how has the tape been holding up for you? I’ve personally found luck with the Nexcare Paper Hypoallergenic tape. Are you planning on trying silicone strips? If so, what have you found works for you there?
I use medical tape and wrap the area that the yarn is bothering me. Usually it's my tension finger but occasionally it's somewhere else. It seems that I most often need it when I haven't crocheted for a while or a start a project with a new yarn.

I use this 3M Nexcare tape, but there are tons of options out there that work.
I take a strip that's roughly 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) and lay it across the danger zone. I started out using two strips for each nip to make an X or + pattern, but I've found that a single vertical strip works just as well for me.
I use gauze tape to tape a little folded gauze to my wounds. They don't ooze as much as they used to & I always seemed to have a minor/stage I or level I...whatever it's called. I tried band-aids at the beginning, but they don't stick that well.
After trying about 4 or 5 brands of gauze tape, the 3M™ Kind Removal Silicone Tape that looks like this seems to work the best currently for me regarding leaving residue & sticking well:

THIS IS THE ONLY TAPE I CAN USE ON MY SENSITIVE SKIN: Nexcare Strong Hold Pain-Free... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KOC7FFM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Hi,
Nexcare makes a strong, no residue tape that my son used with the gauze.
I'm curious, with what kind of tape? Like this one: https://www.amazon.it/Nexcare-Sensitive-Skin-trauma-tape/dp/B00KOC7FFM/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_it_IT=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=14GHLWAQELVDM&keywords=tape+wounds&qid=1670245957&sprefix=tape+wounds%2Caps%2C110&sr=8-5 ?
I ask because I'm ignorant and maybe plastic can be bad for the plant, so I wouldn't use ducktape! But something that can be used for humans will work on plants too, am I right?
I have a strong background in many foundational topics around these areas, its why I don't like to engage too deeply in debate, even with doctors.
Large amounts of science are currently failing thus the replication crisis. There's a lot of pressure these days to take vaccines, statins, SSRIs, get CPAP, eat less meat and low fat, etc. And society is more unhealthy than ever. Instead whenever possible I prefer to look for natural solutions, avoiding the potential side effects.
So instead of looking for the mechanism or RCT data, with something this simple I suggest just trying it and see. This is the tape I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KOC7FFM
I have done a huge amount of testing different sleep aids with this wellue ring: https://www.amazon.com/Wellue-Monitor-Continuously-Tracking-Software/dp/B08VW3VQKW
Even without the ring, you will likely notice a difference in the morning if the mouth taping is working. But the advantage with this wellue ring is you can test a lot of different things, to see what works for you. Its easy and fun and you may be able to avoid CPAP. And of course if you need CPAP, you need it, no problem.

I use this medical tape. It holds up pretty well, tears easy and I can put it anywhere yarn starts to bother my skin. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KOC7FFM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_QPXC0FEV5AK7E9WZVRJB
Exactly.
What worked for me was "taping" my heels. With something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Nexcare-Sensitive-Skin-Trauma-Tape/dp/B00KOC7FFM/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1541578801&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=Nexcare+sensitive&psc=1
As mentioned, worked for me, not sure if this will work for anyone.
