I've had three cases for my N6, none of them are as good as this one. It's slim and still has protection. Don't even bother with Spigen or Ringke. With those, you're either buying for something that looks kind of cool with no protection whatsoever, or you're buying a big, ugly case that adds an inch to the thickness and ruins the overall design of your phone. Supcase has addressed these issues perfectly. Plus, you can get it for $10 on their website- with free 5 day shipping- with a promo code that you can find with a google search.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to also add that it has the dimple on the back of the case for the motorola logo. What more could you want OP.
I respect your opinion but I have mine as well. A drop from at least waist high on concrete will almost certainly do some sort of damage after a few times.
With a screen protector on my phone, it protrudes a bit past the lip of the case. If it drops flush face down it could probably break the TGSP and do some damage below it.
I had the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle on my N6 which had a great lip, body and feel to it. Even after 2.5 years it still looked awesome. I wish there was something similar on the market right now.
Looks very similar to the supcase which I'm a big fan of. Been using this for about 2 years. The rubber sides occasionally come off of the plastic back but I don't find it to be too annoying.
You actually care about Qi charging? It was a "meh" factor for me and I could never get it to work on my 6 without taking it out of its case. It wasn't even a particularly thick case, since Otterbox never gave it any love. I had it in one of one of these, same case I bought for my 6P.
Hear ya on the rest of the stuff, particularly the front facing speakers. That was the final factor that convinced me the 6P was a better buy than the Pixel, although the $200 cost savings and immediate availability of the 6P were certainly influences as well. :)
Uses this case. Tried it w/o the case and the problem still persists.
Ventilation is good, plenty of air surrounding the device (it sits on a granite countertop while charging)
I use this case and can confirm that wireless charging works through it. I use a wireless charger every night.
I have had there other cases and enjoyed them.

Its slim but seam to do well for my HTC One M8.
Mine does the same thing. I've had the trushield screen protector on for about a week. I don't think it looks terrible or anything though, personally. It's a solid screen protector, especially paired with this case:
I too wanted a clear back, though I'm not rocking a Dbrand skin. I went with the Unicorn Beetle by Supcase. The back is frosted (not totally clear) but after seeing some customer photos on Amazon I didn't want something that shiny.

Yeah between my wife and I (we both have N6), we have about 12 cases... lol... we buy them when we see them on cheap 80-90% off sales. A few bucks here and there is no big deal. I'm super picky about them so I like to try different ones. My favorite so far is THIS ONE.
She liked the look of it and also it seems to have pretty good protection so it was a win, win :) Hope it works out!
I have this SUPCASE from Amazon. Pretty happy with it.

Any Anker charger/cable, although they have quickcharge variants and the N6 supports quick charging.
This is the thickest case I've been able to use with it: https://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Google-Unicorn-Premium-Motorola/dp/B00OHFGUDU/ref=pd_lpo_107_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XQRZBMAHCWYQVVDP4KS5
Mine is pretty cheap and works wonders. Haven't had any issues what so ever in over a year. The only downside is that it isn't the most comfortable when pressed to your ear.

If this is the one you're talking about, I love it. Makes it so easy to hold one handed
I have a Supcase Unicorn Beetle that works fine with my Choetech.

I use this one, the Frost Clear where everything is clear and see through and it does have raised power and volume buttons.
I had the Supcase (unicorn beetle series) for the N6, which I like. Thinking about getting the same for the 6P but it's a lot more "busy" than last year's. Still, for $7 at least I'll have it when I get the phone and I can always order a different case later. Actually, those parts that stick more out at the corners look like they'd be annoying. Didn't see that at first.
I started out with the Supcase Unicorn Beetle, which others have suggested here. Even that was more bulky than I desired.
So now I use the Spigen Exact-Fit.
I got Spigen Slim Armor Case, clear back to see the nexus logo and it's helped me with a few drops.
And a yootech glass screen protector. The screen protector has been flawless, I actually like the look it adds. The edges of the glass are curved towards against the screen so no chipping and it's crystal clear. Doesn't go to the edge of the phone so you can definitely tell it's there but it looks classy.
Any suggestions on Amazon.com available non-bulky cases? I agree with the preference. Was looking at http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OHFGUDU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3RZJ9YYQ3ASDK
Thanks for the suggestion.
I am thinking of this one, with a tempered glass screen protector. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OHFGUDU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3RZJ9YYQ3ASDK
This is the one I have. It seems very protective (yes, I've dropped it a few times).
This is the case I went with. I've kind of forgotten but I did have a ton of accidental button presses when I first got this phone (basically the week it launched on Verizon).
I chose this case because I read some reviews that the glossy transparent cases had a lot of glare, so frosted seemed like a good compromise. And I wanted something that actually added grip since I kept dropping my phone (on soft surfaces) and knew I needed protection for a phone this size where I couldn't always get the best grip.
A few things I like about this case:
It shows the back off, which I liked since covering it up seemed a shame. And it still has the dimple, which has grown on me.
It's durable yet slim, and doesn't add too much bulk (others may disagree, but I find this the perfect balance of slim and protection).
I was pleasantly surprised when I found it helped dramatically decrease accidental presses and added a little stiffness to the buttons. Yet they're still raised and offer tactile feedback, and I can feel the plus and minus symbols on the volume rocker on the exterior rubber.
I've already dropped several times on a hard surface about from waist height since getting the case and it has saved my phone. No scratches, cracks, dents, etc. The case is showing some wear, but better the case take the beating than my $600 phone.
I also bought this case for $3 with a coupon from SickDeals, but it felt too loose, the kickstand is cheap plastic that felt like it would break, the buttons were still too clickable and were flush with the case, making it hard to tell by feel what I was pressing, and it was more slippery (though still better than naked). I didn't like it as much and went back to the Unicorn Beetle.
Hope that helps!
Edit: fixed spelling errors, added clarification, added point number 4.

No complaints about any of them. The white case is nice but I don't like white phones aesthetically.
This is the one I use, It's slim enough and has protected my phone from a few falls. I also like the transparent back. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OHFGUDU/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_IvCCvb0BT3RR5
Had one for my Moto X 13.
Was ok at best. The white yellowed out within a week and got permanent stains as well.
Can confirm earlier comment about it being slick and flimsy. As it's 100% TPU. Cheap TPU at that.
It's more for looks than protection. Though for under 5 bucks, not a complete loss.
If you're looking for a case that has protection, looks, not too bulky. The Supcase Hybrid is what I recommend. I've had my Nexus 6 in this case since day one (Jan) and have had zero issues.
It's saved my phone from numerous drops that would have otherwise ended badly.
It looks bulky, but really is not that much added. IMO, it's worth it as it WILL protect. Unlike the super slim plastic cases everyone keeps breaking their phones in *cough Spigen *cough.
I gotta put a vote in for the Unicorn Beetle. It's fantastic!
