I've had this Spigen case for just under a year and I have had no complaints. It grips well, it holds its shape, and, imo, it looks pretty sharp. $12 on Amazon.

I have a Spigen Rugged Armor Nexus 6P Case. The logo & 'carbon fiber' pattern are not nearly as visible as in the picture (I forgot they were there until I saw the Amazon page).
If you want a good case just get the carbon fiber spigen case from Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B016CBFBVI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OMdzCb67XW8Z5
I have had this case for about 2 years now and have dropped my phone more times than I'd like to admit and have no dents/scratches on the phone screen. As for a screen protector just get any tempered glass protector. The 6p is such a nice phone hope you'll enjoy it, I just changed the battery recently and probably going to keep this phone till it officially gives out.
What kind of case and problem with holding are you imagining? I have this case and it would work perfectly fine on a phone with 0% bezel and it would be just as easy to hold.

Personally, I use the Spigen Rugged Armor. It happens to have the bump still there. It also has a design over the visor and the bottom part of the back. As for slipperyness, it's fine for me. It lets me keep a nice grip over it. However, the phone will be a little thicker, so if you already have trouble holding it in one hand, then it'll be even harder with this. For durability, it has withstood several drops and is still fine, but those weren't very high drops.
I got a 6p last week and got a Spigen case and Tech Armor Glass Protector for it.
The 6p seems pretty durable, but I already had the phone drop from my hand once because I am not used to holding such a large device with one hand. No damage so far since the case held up. I'd say you need a case.
Only gripe I have with this case I showed above is that the power button and volume buttons become too hard to press. I've heard that's the case with most 6p cases though.

Oh, and a Nilkin Tempered Glass screen protector. I find Nilkin's fit and finish is better than many of the ones out there... worth the extra price.
I bought the Spigen - it's okay.
But it is hard/impossible to take screenshots (which is annoying as I use my phone to beta test quite a bit).
How do those cases fair for screenshot taking? I would guess the ones that expose the volume and power buttons to be okay - the ones that cover them to be less good.
The case I'm using on it right now is actually quite thick (although not as ridiculously thick as a typical Otterbox case for the iPhone). This is the case I've been using since day one. It's a rather nice case, but the thickness does make the phone slightly bulkier. However, my original reply above was written based on my use of the 6P with this case on it every day, so even with a thick case, I still feel like the phone's size is manageable. I must point out that the phone is slightly easier to use without the case on it. (On a somewhat unrelated note, the lip on the sides of the case also is not high enough to fit over top of a glass screen protector, so be aware that the buttons on the side of the case will be misaligned with the actual buttons on the phone.)
If you're worried about the size and you're not prone to accidentally dropping your phone from more than a couple of feet in the air, I would just go with a thinner TPU case. I like my case, but it has its flaws, and there are definitely thinner ones out there for the 6P.
I looks pretty bulky in pictures.. not crazy about th erounded edges it kinda changes the shape of the phone at least from what I can see.
im gonna order a speck case too and return one or the other. speck has free return shipping
I love the phone's bare look but I love it too much to end up having it slip out of my pocket and into the street or tile floor.
Spigen makes some fantastic, good looking, slim cases for the 6P. A couple people have said that my phone looks better with the Rugged Armor case as supposed to without it. I feel no compromise in using a case.
Here's a link to the one I am talking about:
I'm a fan of this one. Fits perfectly, doesn't block any sensors, and lets me take screenshots. It's also absorbed a couple decent drops already (waist height). Only downside in my mind is that the corner of the charging hole digs into my pinkie finger given how I hold the phone.
while seeing reviews and pictures regarding the n6p i was really excited because to me the graphite color was sexy af but then for some reason after it arrived i just wasn't as impressed as i was from the videos.. i mean, the phone was nice but the i didn't have that "damn, this is a sweet looking phone" attitude anymore when i would look at it and i could not even tell u why.. however, after my spigen www.amazon.com/dp/B016CBFBVI/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_a5iswbMMX8W7Q case arrived that feeling came back.. my phone looked classy as hell and now i smile looking at it just because it looks so damn good.. the original case i ordered was the supcase www.amazon.com/dp/B015X9UR2S/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_FbjswbDTT0CXY but nothing compared to the spigen look so now i wont ever use that case unless i go to the beach in order to protect my phone from sand.. bottom line is, if you want a sexy phone, get the spigen!
I bought this Spigen case for my 6P and I love it. It's the only case I could find that actually looked good and wasn't massive on the phone. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CBFBVI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Title: [[SG] [H] Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite [W] £260](/r/HardwareSwapUK/comments/6nfmbf/sg_h_nexus_6p_64gb_graphite_w_260/)
Username: /u/thedjgr33n
Original Post:
Item Name: Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite
Condition: Pretty much perfect, had a tempered glass screen protector and a case on it since about a week after I got it.
Timestamps: http://imgur.com/a/kGij8
Price: £260 including postage.
Postage and Payment: Paypal or BT and probably royal mail.
Any additional information: I don't have the original charger for it so it'd just be a generic apple plug that I'll throw in most likely with a 3ft type C cable. The case is a spigen rugged armor case from here, and I'll leave the screen protector on. Never unlocked the bootloader so it's still running stock everything and it is unlocked.

thanks for your input. It looks like that it is impossible to get those in Canada, do you have anything on those Spigen cases? Like this one? https://www.amazon.ca/Spigen%C2%AE-Rugged-Ultimate-Protection-Resilient/dp/B016CBFBVI/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1471646594&sr=1-1&keywords=nexus+6p+case
And what about this for glass? https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01HEDM7JW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2QRRYICESXNCH&psc=1
I can't speak for the slim, but I got this one and it's been pretty great. I've had it since January with no complaints.
The thing with the Rhino one is that it doesnt need to cover the front and back. It's not possible for it to land on either surface unless it strikes something smaller than the surface of the phone.
I agree, they are pricey. I dont want to risk not liking it.
Spigen makes good cases. This one would be my pick: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Resilient-Ultimate-protection/dp/B016CBFBVI/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1471285309&sr=1-2&keywords=nexus+6p+cases
I have this one:
And it's not bad, but the sides are way to grippy for my liking.
I'm currently using this case, because it's super thin.
But, I was first using this case, as it was the only one available on Amazon Prime Now when I first got it. I mean, I think it still looks pretty sweet too, it's just a little bit thicker than the cheap one I got on eBay.
Still.. I'm thinking of just getting a dBrand skin and leaving the cases off entirely.
Using the Spigen Rugged Armor for the case and this screen protector.
This is the best one.
Screen protector, yes, I use just the regular ones from best buy, but I would prefer tempered glass. Much more protective. Brother dropped his phone hard and the glass protected the screen from shattering.
I don't own a google store case, but the live cases are pretty popular if you want one custom to you. I really like the design of the Adopted Nexus 6P case on the google store too.
I use the Spigen Rugged Armor, which IMO is the best looking case you can get. If I had any other option for a case though, I'd probably get any really clear thin one and get a Dbrand skin
There isn't any bundles with the 6P that I'm aware of, but regarding your last two questions a simple search on Amazon or Ebay should help you. Just make sure when you're buying USB A to USB C cables, adapters, car chargers, etc. that they're up to USB Spec. Here is a google spreadsheet where you can see nearly all cables and adapters that have been reviewed by Benson. Avoid the ones that aren't approved like the plague and try to buy the ones that are approved for minimum risk of burning down your house/frying your phone.
Other than that I feel you'll find the transition from an Apple device to a Nexus fairly easy, as Nexus provides you with a stock and easy to use Android compared to most other Android flagships.
I ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor. Seems to be a favorite, after they fixed all their sensor-blocking issues.
If that one is too bulky or grippy (like collecting all dust from my pocket, not coming out of pocket easily, etc), I'll probably look at the Spigen Exact Fit.
I'm using this one. http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Resilient-Ultimate-protection/dp/B016CBFBVI?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
And I'm using this mount with the metal plate just sitting (not taped) between case and phone. http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-MAGWSM2-MagicMount-Suction-Mevices/dp/B00R2K4LCY?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00
Been using it for months now with no issues.
Hey buddy, how about the "rugged armour" version? Do you know if it has the same feel 'rubbery feel'?
And I'm using this tempered glass.
As someone who's owned the 6P for a few months on Project Fi - I can tell you that it's a pretty good phone. I haven't experienced any of the issues that Cykahui has had, and he's just really bitter.
The screen's been excellent - videos are wonderful to watch on it, and there has been no "Yellowing" or visual degradation of any kind.
The bezels aren't noticeably bad in any way. However, if you get a case for the 6P - it will inch it into "a tad too large" territory depending on the case. I use this Spigen Case with my 6P. I also use this Tech Armor screen protector - not because I lack faith in the Gorilla Glass, but just as an "extra layer" against typical unexpected life events.
The phone still feels solid, I've dropped it twice down the side of my car seat, once getting it wedged between the metal seat slide and the floor, and on extracting it there were no scrapes or scratches.
I am very happy with my 6P, however at times using custom launchers, it does prove to be a little sluggish. Using the stock launcher/Google Now launcher I didn't have any performance issues. The fingerprint unlock works well, the NFC works flawlessly with my YubiKey NEO, and it picks up my voice far more accurately than my Moto X 2014 ever did - and that phone was supposed to have a dedicated processor for voice input.
I have no doubt the Samsung S7 Edge is a fine phone, though historically I've been dubious of Samsung's insistence on customizing everything, and the utility of an edge screen still hasn't been proven to me yet. Either way, I think both will prove to be fine for you - but don't let Cykahui get to you. He's irreverent and acidic.

Yes, the Diztronic will work with a screen protector. I have a glass screen protector on my 6P and the Diztronic works fine with it.
An alternative suggestion for a case would be the Spigen Rugged Armor. This is the one I use daily and it's basically the Diztronic with a bit more style on the back (the inlaid carbon fiber accents). This one also works perfectly fine with a screen protector.

This is the glass protector that I'm using: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019O5MN4W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
I recommend the Spigen TPU case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CBFBVI Its far thinner than the pictures make it look and its a perfect cut/fit 0 complaints.
If you want something hard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01761J26I was a good one, also by spigen, but I wasnt a fan of the volume/power areas. Plenty of space and they work fine, but the plastic between them is higher than I'd expect and felt odd.
Do NOT get the Dgtle or Redshield cases. I ordered both and to my surprise they were the exact same case. Same mold and everything. The volume/power keys were terrible, and one of them was shipped to me with scratches on it. There's a plethora of random companies selling the same re-branded junk so keep your eyes open.
As for the glass I went with xtremeguard. They always have sales going on (like 50% to 90% off, check the top of the site to see the current one, but there's usually better ones going on if you follow them) which is good since they are normally very overpriced. But I got two of their spartan shield tempered glass protectors for $7. The cutouts include the proximity sensor and the edges are nice. The install went easy which I've never had happen. Currently their sale is at 75% which is pretty good.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CBFBVI is the one I love. I ordered 4 different cases. and the two spigen ones are my favorite. The other spigen one is a hard plastic one here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01761J26I
Those spigen TGSPs look good. I'll probably grab one of those with a Rugged Armor case. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CBFBVI
I got this bad boy:
Nexus 6P Case, Spigen® Rugged Armor
So thin, feels really good in the hand, eliminates the hump, and protects your phone very well.
No, its a single layer. Really doesn't add much to the size but offers a good deal of protection and helps a lot with grip.
Dammit - back up to £7 now
How about this one? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CBFBVI
The listing on Amazon is now showing additional pictures as well.
picked up 2 cases, The spigen rugged case and a kangaroo leather sleeve from Etsy.
