Amazon also has this one (and others in the "related" section) that seems to be a more recent edition. Not sure what you mean by a "sentence for sentence translation", but I assume it should be fairly close. The English edition isn't like an entirely new story loosely based on the original French.

Every french people know it. Even the younger generation because they made multiple movies about it since 2009.
