Tried and either returned or sold all kinds of so called top gaming chairs only to be disappointed as my already damaged spine and hip were subject to what I can only describe as medieval torture using these chairs. Finally stopped falling for the hype and bought a Nightingale CXO 6200 D or as it's fondly known, the tank chair. I have had it for 3 years now and I will never buy any other kind of chair. Every adjustment you can think of for the arms and seat and with the mesh back and thick foam seat I can sit at the computer all day with no strain on my structure. Like a previous poster said on built to last, stop buying numerous 3 to 500 dollar chairs and buy this one once.
Christ, you got it for a steal. 1400 CAD New.

[Edit: I just realize the chair I'm sitting on is a nightingale. I bought it from some high end office furniture store that I won a $400 gift card to from a radio station. The chair was $800. That was... around 10 years ago and it's held up like new. So, I can vouch for this brand being BIFL.]
I have one of each of these chairs. Depending on your area you should be able to find them in used office furniture stores for 100-150 a piece. both have been super rugged and super comfy. I am well over 300 pounds and no longer need a tailbone cushion using these.
