The SD card was one that I got with my Note 8 around the same time and I never use that much space in a phone.
For sure, I understand the apprehension! It’s an option to look at at least. There’s a newer version a little down the page that I didn’t look at, that might be worth looking into as well. But this is the exact one she got meswitch bag
I guaran-fucking-tee this can fit everything
I’ve been keeping the switch. 4 sets of joy cons. 2 pro controllers. The dock. And 3 joy on grips. Plus a little case with a bunch of games in it. The only things not in a specialized pocket with how I have it are the dock and joycon grips. Because I use the dock pocket for the extra pro controller. And I don’t worry about the dock by itself in the main pocket. Or just it and joy on grips
Edit: For 4 full sized controllers. Plus the dock. It has 2 specialized pockets that will hold one each. Depending on how comfortable you feel with it. The main pocket would fit the other 3. And probably still would if you put them in soft bags too.
I haven't purchased a case big enough to hold the Switch and the dock, but I have purchased this backpack that is slim and holds all of my Switch accessories with ease.
He could open it then go get it updating (not too long) while you two both go to Target together to get a few accessories. Prices will be better online, but it's also right there. Worst case scenario he'll get an idea of what he wants.
The only deal I know of personally is for the PDP bag. Also, ask him plainly if he prefers phyiscal game cartridges or digital downloads- everyone has an opinion but they have different needs. Physical will for sure want a case to hold/organize everything, and digital will want a micro SD card.
I dont have it yet, but the elite pro switch backpack can fit all the necessities you will need. It goes around $40
Edit: here a link
I will be visiting family in May/June of next year and bringing my switch with me, planning on buying this backpack does anyone know if it would be allowed on carry-on at Logan Airport ?
This is what I use and I love it! I can fit all my switch stuff along with a laptop and fullsize headphones. Amazon
I just bought the PDP backpack....honestly I'm a little dissapointed that it doesn't unzip fully but other than that it's nice.
> I'm looking for a bag with no Switch branding
Didn't see this
Is anybody getting a backpack or carrying case?
I want to get this one [link]
but its only one picture for all the retailers that have it. Kinda steep to purchase based on one picture. Curious to see who else is getting anything else
Have you thought about just getting the switch back pack? It will fit everything you need and more. I have not seen many cases out there that hold more than one pro controller.
This has a Lot of room in it.

Personally I'm a fan of this one: https://www.amazon.de/Nintendo-Switch-Player-Rucksack-500-009/dp/B01MS7DVLT/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548401857&sr=8-4&keywords=switch+bag
I have this one, it works well and carries the Switch very comfortably. If you have any questions about it let me know!
Repost the link without the referral bit, please!

Your best bet might be this:
This one? Do you have it?
I went ahead and bought the Nintendo Switch elite player backpack. Kinda pricey at $49.99 but can hold everything and then some. Including 4 sets of joycons and even the dock if you are bringing that along. And it's pretty subtle aside from the small nintendo switch badge on the front of the bag. I'm very happy with it
Edit: a word
Also, most bags that are name brand run anywhere from $50-$100. So this being branded by Nintendo is actually on the lower price end.
Hey guys, I'm interested in getting something that would allow to me to bring along all my Switch stuff, including the dock/charger/pro controller. I think the the above two options ([link]) and ([link]) are probably the best choices. Just wanted to get some opinions from people who had already picked them up. Thanks!
Try this [link]
If you're planning to bring it to friends houses and traveling I would suggest this Nintendo Switch Elite Player Backpack [link]
I have one and absolutely love it.
I don't really know much about the backpack - do you mean this one? If you think you'd use it, then sure I think it would be worth it, seems to be getting good reviews.
This back looks nice
Hoping I can pick one up in the UK
Any new images of the Elite Player Backpack?
It's a toss-up for me between the two.
I preordered this. Dunno if its good though.
