Definitely doesn't help in this case, but everyone should buy "S binders" to protect their bags if they don't already have something to prevent pickpocketing.
Shame. I wonder how much LMG could get something like this wholesale and just swap them in. I love these little things for keys and zipper pulls that close.
The two side access entries can already be secured by tucking the zips into the loops inside the bag. For the other two main access zips, I use these mini S carabiners with a twist lock on the zips. It's more subtle than a TSA lock.
I use s-lock carabiners to lock my zippers together on my packs/fanny packs!

Though the pocket clip is a bit of a bummer, the flashlight itself is amazing! I tend to recycle the pocket clips… (I’ve tried to find other things to use them with, but I haven’t found a good use for them yet). I usually carry my flashlight on a NiteIze Microlock S-Biner clip, which makes it easy to come off my keychain when I need only the flashlight. Because of its size, it’s super easy to carry on my keys! I purchased mini split rings (like you see on the Swiss Army Knife) and I add them to all my RovyVons, (I have a few!) I think it makes it easy to clip to my keys! NiteIze S-Biner with MicroLock (on Amazon)
Why not opt for something lower tech? Get a mini s-biner to attach your keys to the male key piece end, and then get a separate lanyard and loop the s-biner on the lanyard when needed. This is what I do and it works great.
I use a tiny locking S binder clip to hold Banji's ID as it makes switching super fast and easy. It takes longer for me to buckle his collar on him than to switch the tags over now.
AFAIK there's three different generations of Nite Ize S-biners. The first one had no lock, the second has two separate slide locks, and the newest one has a locking bit in the middle that seems more secure than either of the previous two.
I like the locking s-binder
They come in a variety of colors and every tag I've had fits right onto it (you wouldn't need to add a ring):

These things are amazing. You can buy them at menards, or other hardware stores as well.
Having your keys clipped to your belt loop on a short lanyard is no joke. It is SO much more convenient than any other solution I've found. I've got an apartment key, apartment access fob, kar key, and car key fob. Because my keys are clipped to my belt loop on a short lanyard, the car key is the ONLY one that has to be unclipped from my belt loop to be used. I keep them tucked in my back pocket and the lanyard being clipped to my belt loop makes them SUPER easy to access by just hooking my thumb and snagging the lanyard.
Here's my setup.. It just consists of a short paracord lanyard and locking Nite Ize S-Biners in two sizes: Micro and Size #2. I removed the top lock on the top s-biner in my setup but if your concerned about security they'd be a great solution. Here's a similar setup that has a bigger loop with a lanyard and keyring built in for $6.

I use crystal deodorant, which last freaking forever, and is cheap as well.
Some people use a carabiner to clip the small bag to the seat back. I don't, but it's a popular option. Carabiners are also helpful as theft deterrents in pickpocket-heavy areas.
I got this lock for my Fanny pack! Even I have a hard time opening it so it seems impossible for someone else to. s biner micro lock

I use these for my keys and find them pretty reliable Nite Ize S-Biner MicroLock, Locking Key Holder, Stainless-Steel, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BKVPU08/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YASFW0YX3Q3AQDV2JA4F?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I keep my keys on a mini-carabiner (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BKVPU08/).
An alternative is to get a copy of your keys, and take just the copies on your runs.
Buy a pair of baby socks. Cut the toe off. Slide it over the fittings before you hook on.
I also switched out the clip that came with it for a mini s-biner similar to the link below. While it's slightly more bulky, the edges are rounded and the pressure is distributed across a larger area so more of a pushing on the skin than a digging in.
I love S binders and have found a few uses of them for my puppy. I use a micro one for all his tags so I can easily switch them between collars, plus it is locking! A larger one is used as a backup for his harness. It also works great to keep his light up collar in place.

These clips will also work as well. I got mine from Home Depot for 5$ or so.

Thinking about buying a 3d printer, but I've been doing that for quite a while. A lot more interesting are the two things I recently decided to spend money on:
I believe https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BKVPU08/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_TZqcub1PK0NW9 are equivalent; I don't have their sizes committed to memory. I use this size as gear clips for lanyards, my keys are on a locking #2.
