I don't do phone wallets because if something happens to my phone then I lose cards/cash as well(I fish a lot and mountain bike so likely to lose a phone somehow). As for a am so wallet I've been using this one for years. No issues at all and literally only as tall as your cards/ID. Has easy pull tab for the cards you use the most and has a spot for cash as well.
NOMATIC Black Slim Minimalist... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TVBOL6S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I've been using one of these for years now. It holds a ton of cards, some cash, coins if you want. Its got a spot of your most used card(s).
Don't you get your cards scratched? I've had this one since they made a Kickstarter and lot of my cards get scratched even if the cards around have no numbers embossed on the card.
Nomatic makes a very nice slim wallet that I’ve had for over a year with zero noticeable wear.
I usually carry the equivalent of 6-9 cards including ID/health insurance/debit card. I have a 2nd wallet for travel purposes, as I don't need to carry around priority pass or cancelled cards to try and get free bags every day.
I carry around 4 main cards: Debit, CSR, CFU, and what minimum spend card I'm working on. I can probably drop the CFU and the debit, but you never know when you need/want cash.
I use a minimalist wallet and try to keep my wallet at 3 CCs, license and Moviepass. It's currently at 4 CCs because of the OD deal (should really be at 3 because you savages cleaned up the GC rack of 5Bs on the first day).
I use the box my my Polo Red came in as my sock drawer, has 3 rubber band stacks (Debit Cards, CCs with elevated numbers, Smooth CCs), a stack of 0% Interest BT checks just in case, three unactivated Serves, 1 unactivated BB (i'm shutdown), and random cards like PP and GE card.
I only carry 4 cards and a few notes, so this wallet works amazingly well for me. It's pretty tiny and really easy to use - you just pull the little tab out and the top 2 cards slid out giving immediate access to everything.
My brother uses this wallet. I think I can recommend it. I could be wrong, but I think you can attach a chain or whatever through the leather pull out part.
Been juggling around items trying to figure out what's best for at home / out in public and I'm finally happy with the following combo:

Here’s the one I have.
NOMATIC Slim Minimalist Front Pocket Wallet For Men and Women, Holds 4-15 Cards, with Hidden Cash and Key Pocket https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TVBOL6S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3frfFbCTD6CV1
lol I don't actually carry all of them around with me. I tend to carry 3-6 depending on what I'm doing and if I'm meeting spend on new ones.

I’ve had my Basics Wallet by Nomatic for about six years now, and it‘a pretty much good as new. It’s also about as minimalistic as you can get.
I love the Nomatic Slim Minimalist. Will never go change it up. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TVBOL6S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_MTGM65HFXJ5G0H7ARPRH

I actually have DD on this.

Simple, cheap, hand-made leather wallet. My first choice if not for what I ended up with. https://loyalstricklin.com/collections/johnny-wallet
Same as before, a close 2nd choice. The design may be preferable to you, but they're both the same. https://www.osleather.com/listing/511152220/the-gun-deck
Simple, not cheap, top quality branded leather wallet. Bellroy is no slouch. Cool features that the prior 2 don't have. You'll pay for it, though. https://bellroy.com/products/slim-sleeve-wallet/leather_default/red_earth#slide-1
Peak design of wallets TBH. It's designed to fit the entire length of the pocket and distribute the size evenly for as slim of a look as possible while retaining everything you want to carry. I'm not a fan of it's "large" footprint, regardless. That's just personal preference and I took a really hard look at this. Available in canvas and leather (people tend to prefer the canvas version). https://www.all-ett.com/products/leather-original-wallet?variant=13334787489849
Really basic and cheap version of what I ended up buying. It's the soft cover version of my pick. Love this. Only issue is that your cards or cash stick out a little. https://www.amazon.com/BASICS-Mens-Slim-Wallet-Black/dp/B00TVBOL6S/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=slim-wallets-20&linkId=403e5287a5e207496ca86bbb1689abe5
And finally, what I actually ended up buying. It's small, light, and I love the quick access nature of it. Metal, so it lasts for as long as I stop giving a shit about it. It just hits the right spot and is so light and small, I almost never notice that I'm carrying it in my pocket. It also completely covers everything that you store in it. I think if the NOMATIC wallet completely covered the cards, I'd probably have gone with that. Your phone (that you store in your pocket) is much larger and just as metallic/hard as this wallet, but I still would like a soft version of this wallet. https://www.slimwalletjunkie.com/collections/secrid/products/secrid-cardprotector-black
