I'd still recommend a desk arm mount like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's nice to be able to adjust the monitor whenever you want vs relying on the regular stand, plus it frees up the desk below the monitor, generally still looks very clean.
All I know is you’re going to want a heavy duty one to keep it tilted upwards because I have the 27” and this one can barely keep it tilted up: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DQYT25/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_i_MdmhFb. Was only $50 when I bought it.
The reason is because the lever arm added by the design, required to achieve the curve, generates a lot of torque. The G9ers know all about this.
It's this one. It extends to 26''.
It's North Bayou F100A. Quite cheap but works very well. Manage to hold my 34inch Alienware without any issues too
I'm about 6weeks into using The NB North Bayou Monitor Desk Mount Ultra Wide. It supports a decent amount of weight and it was a breeze to setup. I love the full range of motion and movement. It was pretty inexpensive around $50, Im not sure what the benefit of spending more on one of these provides.
Really solid overall. No complaints from me. Has a USB port in the base and you can adjust the tension to the weight of the monitor.
Why in the heck would you pay that much for a swiveling arm?? This is the one I use and it also swings/turns 360 degrees, I use it for my 34" ASUS TUF monitor, it easily handles up to 26+ pounds of weight (yours is only 16.9 pounds):
The lighting is IKEA VAXMYRA plugged into tradfri controller.
They are amazing, I made the bottoms super sturdy with 2x2 in the legs and a 6” decking lag screw in the bottoms.
The arms are amazing don’t cheap out on them! Get those ones that handle more weight.

I couldn’t figure out the bolting part of your query, but if it helps, this is the mount I use for my 40-inch V-series Vizio TV that doubles as an external monitor for my laptop.
The VESA holes didn’t match the TV so I had to buy a VESA mount adapter plate.

I don't know if this one helps but, I got this one for the Samsung G7 and works really well.

Works extremely well and could definitely handle more weight. The tension is a little loose out of the box but that’s easy to adjust. I’ve been considering getting a second one.
Edit: Just to clarify, I have the 38UC99W
This North Bayou mount has worked great so far for my LG 34GK950F-B 34. According to amazon, my monitor is 16.1 lbs and this mount is rated for up to 19.8 lbs
These are two North Bayou monitor arm mounts. I got it from Amazon . They are the best arms I used so far. It has something called gas-spring feature which helps you in moving the display or rotate it with less pressure with Cable management.
Thanks :)
I got this monitor arm on Amazon. It's cheap, fully-articulating, fairly easy to setup, and you can peel off all the obnoxious yellow stickers. It holds my even heavier AW3418 easily.
its a North Bayou for ultrawide monitors upto 26lbs (my samsung 34 ultrawide is only 14lbs so it very easily handles it like a champion and monitor stays up, down or whatever angle I change it to.

I personally got the 2nd one as it leave the future possibility of adding a 2nd light monitor arm to the same clamp pole for a smaller monitor ( maybe vertical to the ultrawide to go ultra-XX). But the first one should be more maneuverable.
Hey if your trying to go for a clean setup North bayou monitor arms are like 38$ and super sturdy. I recently purchased a 34 inch wqhd msi monitor that is super slick. 1500r curve too. I’ll like both incase

I'm using this one. The monitor is roughly 7.5kg and it holds it really well.

These are links to some of my setup. Don't really have much of a budget since I'm still in school.

it was one of the cheap option in market, pretty sturdy and work like a charm.
Hmm I have that exact arm with a 34 inch curved monitor, but my monitor is only 5.5 kg.
From the Amazon reviews I see one guy using it with a Samsung CJ89 which is even heavier.
https://www.amazon.com/North-Bayou-Monitor-Computer-19-8lbs/dp/B074DQYT25?th=1
So, might be ok? You're well within the weight range so even accounting for the extra leverage from the curve I think you're ok.
I use this for my AW34, works great and I move it around often: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DQYT25/
This one. It has the longest reach I have found and can be adjusted very quickly without tools.

Thanks, would you suggest this one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_2
Says it can do 6-24lbs and my monitor is 16lbs w/o the stand. I was thinking of getting the smaller one as well for the small 27" 1080p. Seems like two individual arms would be more adjustable.

I think it all comes down to personal preference and intended use. Myself, I have a 32inch Samsung G5 mounted onto this articulating arm mount.
>t a 49 screen and if so what monitor arm are you using? I've got a 43 Samsung with a really aggressive curve so it's front heavy. It tends to break most monitor arm
Yes it is a samsung crg 49" monitor.
I use this monitor arm: https://www.amazon.de/-/nl/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is rated to hold up to 12 kg and it works perfect for me. It is holding up for over a year now and for that price, it was a bargain.
Hi just following up on this.
I ended up choosing this arm (https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) its not quite close to 75cm but good enough for me and really cheap.
These ones seem to be the same but with different labels.
This is what I use, they have it in a dual monitor set up as well. I actually just drilled a hole through my desk to secure it
Hi I'm looking for a desk mount for my samsung 49" 32:9 C49RG90.
I understand the ergotron HX seems to be the best but, it's "a bit" expensive.
I also understand that low cost can eventually be more expensive if you break your monitor but maybe there is an alternative somewhere?
F100A-B could fit. The weight capacity looks good.

What do you think about this? Bad idea, and I still have to save money for the ergotron?
Thanks! It’s the Cooler Master GM34-CW, and the arm is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DQYT25/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Y68BDT4BET8751JKJGW9
It's quite sturdy with ample adjustments.
Cool thanks, I have these arms: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are very sturdy.. I even mounted a TV that was over the weight limit once and it handled it fine. Very versatile and can do what you need I think, here's some pics I took to show different setups https://imgur.com/a/qOyFXBM
This is what I use (x2), and they're great! They never wobble or sag.
here, this is the one I got, I think it did the job, if you don't shack the desk too much, it is fine.

This one:

It’s a nice solid arm but the cable management is meh and the tilt is not great. Can barely keep my 27” G7 tilted upwards after cranking it as much as possible.
I use this arm
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think the lower priced arms are all pretty close in specs. Though the price of the arm I bought was 50% cheaper when I got it. Not sure I would buy it again at the high price.
I was thinking of buying a vesa plate that provides more range of motion. There are a few on Amazon that look like they will work.
I ended up with this NB due to my funky IKEA desk clearance in the back.
I also try the OP mount from Amazon Basics but it didn’t fit my desk. I love the more premium look but the price was also twice as expensive.
EDIT - sorry, I didn’t realize I was replying to the wrong comment.
North Bayou. Pretty impressed for the price. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Northern Bayou. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25
I had to get the heavier rated arm (6.6-19.8 lbs) for the x34 because when I weighed it it was around 16.6 lbs without the stand. Glad I did to because I got the 14 lbs arm for my XB271HU and that seems to be about the max weight it will hold (~12.5 lbs).
For the XB271HU: https://www.amazon.com/North-Bayou-Motion-Computer-Monitors/dp/B01AI2YGK4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1518817560&sr=8-3&keywords=north+bayou
