this one may fit your applications better than a higher voltage impact driver, which can have too much torque/speed for more finishing work: http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-BDCS80I-Impact-Screwdriver/dp/B00FFZQ0W2 that Porter Cable one you linked to is a great impact driver, but it may be a bit large and powerful for what you want to use it for. I understand your want for a corded tool to help reduce the initial cost, but the B+D looks to be a good value.
