It is a bit old, but Nuklear Age is a fun, and surprisingly deep, super hero story in its own world. Sort of a whacky book but with a heart of gold. Well, really more like a bunch of stories that form a cohesive narrative. It was written by the guy who did 8 Bit Theatre (which, looking back, started 20 years ago and now makes me feel old).
And the Invincible compendiums, while huge, read smooth and fast. Waiting for the last one from the library and I could not be more delighted with them.
Nuklear Age by Brian Clevinger on July 31, 2005. I can only assume it was a present for my now-husband (at that time, we were only engaged).
Total over 5 years is right around $4000. Yikes.
