That being said, they'll immediately associate Oklahoma with the musical (I remember when I lived there the Takarazuka Revue was putting on their version of it!) See here
They'll definitely be intrigued by the idea of "wide country spaces" so anything along those lines will probably appeal to them. I strongly recommend a picture book --something like this, but I'm sure you can find something cheaper--to share will really interest people, in my experience.
