Kryptonite is good, but I think they're more expensive because of the brand recognition. I'd recommend taking a look at OnGuard, specifically the OnGuard Pitbull (get at least the medium size). As for the problem of jamming/sticking, some lubrication every now and then should take care of most your problems.
