Wow, all these people giving you bad advice. 150' is nothing, a normal antenna with LoS would work fine. You can buy external antennas that you can wire outside your house and point at your garage.
Here's an example:
Outdoor WiFi Antenna BAS-2307 15 dB Extender up to Half-Mile for WiFi routers Dual Band 2.4/5 GHz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08242CL6Z/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_TTR05Q3J7SAZ5ABYRY99?psc=1
I can't speak for that model specifically since I just took some old decommissioned ones from work. I'm a network engineer. But I can go fishing just about anywhere on the lake and still have excellent WiFi with only 2 of these.
Just be careful, most wireless access points designate what frequency each port is for (2.4, 5.0 etc)
I use directional antennas off my router. Can go 1500ft into the tree stand to watch Netflix.

But you need your router to be closer to the wall you want to go through. If its on the other side of the house, you might lose some strength.

Consider:
2 Marantz NR series Stereo Receivers. Main House & Far house)
1 NAS Drive (Stores Music files MP3, FLAC, WAV, etc) Kept in main House
1 Ethernet Switch at least 12 ports.
1 broadband router that does DHCP/wifi. (A decent Linksys will do with antenna connections.)
1 100' more or less buried ethernet cable from House to house. (Or run in buried PVC .) 330' max run.
2 surge arrestors on either side of this cable
1 PC for managing music files. in house.
1 JRiver Music server installed on PC for DLNA.
1 Android tablet with Jremote installed at screen house
2 hdmi capable tv's for connecting to each receiver's monitor output
****************************************************
Connect all Ethernet devices to the switch.
Turn on PC, Enable JRiver on PC - for the DLNA service on the network.
Both receivers will see the NAS drive as a media server on the network and will give you access to the stored music at the same time. You'll also be able to get all kinds of music from around the world too.
The tablet will work at either location and allow you to control the NAS Drive. Marantz has Apps that will install on the tablet also for receiver control.
There will be some setup involved with Jriver however this will work. It's not a pipe dream.
I am currently doing a version of this now. I have a Laptop with Jriver driving a DAC./Stereo setup for my remote end. A lenovo Android tablet with Jremote gives me access to my NAS drive . My ethernet connected Marantz NR is on another wall with the LCD
Again its doable. Using the power of ethernet helps to keep costs to a minimum. There are other ways to do this also.
An ethernet connected WAP would also be required at the remote house also connected to the switch. The other antenna would not be necessary actually...
