Wow... I started to wonder if his storys of meeting Andrew Carnegie and the richest people of his time were false because of articles like this one:
I kept on hearing from time and time that he was a somewhat delusional man and that the majority of famous people he "met" were never met in person but in his imagination.
He said that he met Andrew Carnegie but there is no record of that. He also said that he was an advisor to three american presidents Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. But there is no record of this.
Hill even claimed that he came up with FDR's most famous phrase: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
He also claimed that he came up with the plan that helped Roosevelt get America out of the depression. But there is also no record of that... I guess that article could have some merit after all.
He even has a book where he literally has a one on one conversation with the "Devil":
Thanks for taking the time. It was greatly appreciated!
