Mostly because as motorcycle camping person, I can carry a little bit more than the ultralight people, but I don't have enough space for a "regular" cot. This one collapses quite small and does not weigh a ton -- touch over 4 lb?

Chairs like https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VJX2Z3Y/ also collapse quite small and weigh not too much. For me and my partner they're a decent balance between weight/size and comfort.

I don't know if they're great for someone who's 70, because they're quite low. But may be able to reduce pack weight for other people to make space for other creature comforts.
