Also self drafted patternmaking has a wide variety of creation. This book is flat patternmaking, essentially you use pattern blocks to build a 3 dimensional garment. Another type is draping, you use fabric laid over top of a mannequin or 3d object then pin and cut away to create shape. Both are fairly easy to manipulate and learn via research.
