Yep. But like I said you don't need any kind of quality to do this. Basically all that's necessary is enough in a kit to learn to separate your limbs. So what that means is having foot pedals for the hi hat and kick drum.

First you get to learn that you should have been a drummer. Because all guitar players want to be drummers and vice versa basically. But more importantly you learn to feel music like a drummer and inherently feel that beat as a thing separate from what your limbs are actually doing.
