Those cigar minders are not bad and I usually use one when I golf, but the springs on the cigar holding portion are a bit too robust. If you have a box-pressed cigar or a cigar with a delicate wrapper leaf, they can get damaged. I think I have seen a version with just a tray where the cigar can sit which might work better but I worry that a hot cigar might melt it. Here it is. Probably won't damage cigars but your cigar isn't as securely held.

Cigar : Punch Signature Robusto. Mild earthiness, leather, tons of baking spice, full draw, meaty, Brazil nut, mild sweetness. Very reminiscent of Cain or RP edge, but Punchified.

Others suggest the cigar clip to hold your cigar while golfing - I'm not a fan because it'll beat the hell out of the wrapper if you're not SUPER careful (and sometimes even when you are careful).
