I think they mean a peri-bottle, it’s just a bottle with a long neck that is bent at a sharp angle that when you turn it upside down and squeeze the bottle, water comes out. I’ve been using this one to clean after a BM but this is a great suggestion to use it for its intended use haha
If your doctor told you to reapply any sort of ointment or medication to the area after using the bathroom, you can go ahead and do that too.

And this is the peri bottle I got in case that's helpful! Again, a regular plastic water bottle will get the job done, but these are just easier to work with: https://www.amazon.com/Peri-Bottle-Postpartum-Portable-Bidet/dp/B089ZW9GYL/

Most drugstores will have the most basic of these, too. They look like this: https://d47b8c342f195720a9bf-abcdaee9f8d8752825c66eff59bb2838.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/new-world-peri-bottle.jpg

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
