The solution to this would be to get a mouse-pad, maybe an extended pad would be your best choice, I got a 950x400mm mousepad for around £10 on amazon which is more than enough pad for my mouse and keyboard to sit on.
It is the Perixx DX-1000XXL and it has served me well. Be aware that the edges aren't as smooth as I think they could be so it annoys my arm a little when I am mousing.
Still a great size and texture for my needs!
I play on 3200 dpi and 0.32 ingame sens and 5/11 windows sens with this mouse pad https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EG7WB8C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I warmup movement with surf servers and then dm, like many other people in here have said.
Perixx DX-1000XXL, Gaming Mouse Pad - 35.43"x16.93"x0.12" Dimension - Non-slip Rubber base - Special Treated Textured Weave I actually have two of them. They take a beating too.
The mouse mat is from Perixx (size 900x440x3mm). This is a German link you might be able to find in your place as well: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00EG7WB8C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
I don't use the Magic Mouse at all so I don't know if it works well with it. The material works beautifully with my MX Master though.
try this one. Its what I use and i'm very satisfied.

That's the mouse pad I have. You could cut it into whatever shape you want
I can't say much on mice but as far as mouse pads I would recommend the perixx full size mouse pad. Amazon Link It's as wide as my entire desk and it sounds like overkill but it's very nice. The fabric is smooth and I've never had any problems with tracking either with my Ouroboros or my fiance's Deathadder. The only real downside is the edge of the fabric is scratchy but you hardly notice it after moderate use or while you're gaming. EDIT: It's also only $25!
I have a desk pad, so yes, but I still can manage at a much lower sens without picking up my mouse 2-3 times for a 180. Hence the reason I'm baffled others can do it.
When I say lower sens hurts my wrist, it's generally because I have to hover the whole game, rather than resting it on the pad like a currently do.
Perixx DX-1000XXL, Gaming Mouse Pad - 35.43"x17.32"x0.12" Dimension - Non-slip Rubber base - Special Treated Textured Weave
This is one of the best things I've ever bought for my gaming experience.
You need a bigger mouse mat.
Okay, maybe not :P. How nice is the razer mouse mat you're using? Do crumbs/dust wipe off easily? The perixx one I'm using is linked above and it's great except I need to wipe dust off it quite often.
Your mouse may not be the problem, it could be that surface, it looks quite shiny.
I just bought a mouse mat for my friends birthday and I want one myself now, the thing is the length of my desk and over twice as deep as my mat. And my mouse feels weightless compared to my Razer mat that feels a little draggy (though it is a heavy mouse and it's purely preference anyway). Pretty cheap too.
Your keyboard would be underneath it and still leave tonnes of room for your mouse.
Im using one of these, it's amazing.
No curling issues from the packaging, heavy as hell, great surface for speed.
This one looks better, is cheaper, and in my opinion has more practical dimensions.
It's a Perixx DX-1000XXL. Great mousepad and not too expensive for what it is!
buy this as your first mousepad.
This is what i use

Or get the Perixx version for a third of the price. I have one and the edges are not fraying at all.
Perixx 90cm mousemat is £11
This is what i'm using.
I bought it because of good reviews and a decent price. So far so good!
It is this one - I didn't want to spend too much but I'm pretty happy so far. Seems good quality
Deskpad, I think it really brings the whole set up together. This is the one I got.
This mouse pad is amazing and huge

Look into either pcmasterrace mats or perrix mouse pads. You won't be disappointed in either.
best god damned mousepad I've ever used

The mouse mat is a Perixx DX-1000XXL for anyone that is wondering
I have a cheapo ikea desk/chair with one of these bad boys http://www.amazon.com/Perixx-DX-1000XXL-Gaming-Mouse-Pad/dp/B00EG7WB8C
There is the non branded one on Amazon UK, I just ordered one myself as it seems a good upgrade over the two mouse mats I use currently.
I am probs going to stick with it, I don't need a bigger mousepad.
I bought this perixx mouse pad and it's huge and was super cheap.
Doesn't even have a single mark on it yet after like 6 months my old steelseries mat would get marks from just about anything
playing at 1.2, 6, 400dpi. get yourself one of these and a bigger desk
Big mouse mats are very cheap.
My setup is linked in a different reply.
I got it here
Thanks. It's the Perixx DX-1000XXL, solid so far.
It's a Perixx DX-1000XXL.
this is where I bought it from.
So I'm currenlty looking for a mousepad big enough for my keyboard and my mouse. I don't want to spend too much money though. Any recommendations?
Here are some mousepads I've been looking at:
The price of the mousepads posted is in an ascending order and I'd prefer to get the first one over the last one of course. At the same time I don't want to end up with a shitty piece of fabric.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Perixx DX-1000XXL, Gaming Mouse Pad
Just get that.
and here's a link for it on the proper amazon (US)
for a mousepad, if you play mouse heavy games like shooters, size is everything. fuck steelseries. buy this instead.
