I won't receive the TV until Thursday so hopefully it works well. I just didn't want to mount my G1 to the wall, I'm surprised it doesn't come with a stand.

Not sure what the width of that mantle is but I think you could find something that would work.

Also if you are more than 10 degrees off center you could try a VESA swivel tv stand so you can adjust it. I bought one like this, not quite the same since it's been discontinued but it made a good difference on one of my older TVs that had some blooming:

Best option is head on, keep the brightness in check anyway since who wants to have a flashlight in their face all the time, and try the medium full array dimming setting since it's not much dimmer and it helps hide the blooming more.

I have the TV and I'm using it in my bedroom. Unfortunately my dresser wasn't wide enough so I got one of these instead and its rock solid!

I’d highly recommend something like this it’ll give you enough room to put the PS5 right under it the tv.

You can buy a centered tv base on Amazon for like $50. Most of them also swivel 30 degrees left and right. Here is one under $35:
