You could purchase a stand that attaches to the VESA mount on the back of the TV. Here is an example from Amazon:
PERLESMITH Universal Swivel TV Stand / Base - Table Top TV Stand for 37-65 inch LCD LED TVs - Height Adjustable TV Mount Stand with Tempered Glass Base, VESA 600x400mm, Holds up to 88lbs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T72QG3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_fKVUFbTF37N7H
55"-60" would be my suggestion for this space. But I wouldn't sit at the edge of your bed for gaming sessions, your back will hate you. I'd get a dedicated chair.
If you're going to mount your TV, do not make the mistake of mounting it too high. Look at /r/TVTooHigh for examples of what happens when you do this.
I'd suggest putting it on a nice wide wooden TV stand that is no taller than your current bed, and get a rotating TV stand for the TV itself: https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K/
This way you can have a large screen when watching in bed, and you can rotate the TV towards the camera in the picture and sit on something more ergonomic like an office chair when gaming.
Should be able to fit it under if you use one of these

I bought a different pedestal for my 55” on Amazon that game it a much lower profile on my tv stand.

Just get a swiveling table top top stand, forget feet of any kind on the TV. https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K/
And yeah, as much as I like big TV's, I havea 75" myself, at only 6.5-7ft away I'd take the better PQ of the X95J too.

It should work but looks odd in my opinion. I have the same TV and used this (more expensive) stand. It swivels as needed but can be tricky if using a sound bar.
look if it has hole in the back mesueres in MMs the get something like this vesa stand
> most 65" stands have the legs further than that anyway.
Get a VESA pedestal-style TV stand
> Samsung - 55" class 7 series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen $450
> LG - 55" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart WebOS TV $399
> Vizio - 58" Class V-Series LED 4K UHD Smart Cast TV $399
Get the TCL S535.
>everything is drywall and I'd rather not gamble.
What does this mean. Get a stud finder?
>Right now, being able to fit it in my TV cabinet is the best scenario. The height is the biggest issue, can't be more than 6.4".
You can also get a universal VESA stand for the TV that can fit a center underneath. I use this which can fit the enormous RC263 Infinity center. Ultimately since you're buying a new speaker and have more than a decent budget I would suggest getting the matching speaker and trying to move other things around to fit it instead of the opposite
65” Sony X900H for $1170 (on sale at Best Buy) is your best bet
If the base is too wide you could always buy a universal tv stand
If you are against wall mounting for any reason you could buy a TV stand to possibly lift your center channel off the ground and place it under the TV. The base of the stand might stick out and the CC might need to rest on it due to space but you could possibly find a fix for that as well using the dampening foam someone suggested. Or a larger entertainment tv and media storage solution for all your goodies. Ikea has some pretty inexpensive ones. (you're probably already aware of that. lol) Also your rear stands might have a cable management system. If you do, feed your surround cables through those to give it a cleaner look. Nice setup OP! I could spend hours in that room just watching movies and streaming content.
If you like your current stand, you can get a VESA TV stand that raises the TV and put the speaker underneath. Much cheaper than getting a new stand and with a 55 inch TV I wouldn't worry about stability or anything. As an owner of a Infinity RC263 (9+ inches tall) and a 65" TV I have this exact stand and it works great.
If you don't want to mount the TV on the wall, this might help you raise it enough to fit the center speaker under it.
PERLESMITH Universal Swivel TV Stand / Base - Table Top TV Stand for 37-65 inch LCD LED TVs - $49.99
The only one I saw under that name is like $150. I saw several for $50 that look like they'll work. Most of them say supports up to 88 lb. The LG is only 50 lb. Like this one?
I would suggest mounting on a table top mount if the wall isn't an issue. Can get them super cheap hereTable Top TV Stand I run a 65' LGC9 and the beam sits perfectly on the base of the stand
I actually just bought this same TV and had the same exact problem, it is slightly pricey however i am sure there are cheaper options but I bought this and it mounts in the middle and is compatible with this screen. hope this helps
get this TV stand to replace the stock legs of your TV https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K
This way you can raise the TV, and put the Center under the TV.
I purchased this Standing TV Mount to go on my stand.
No, I wouldn’t. Get something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07T72QG3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-HayFbG4GFE26
Or this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01HE1IVNA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6JayFbX8JQ85H
Get an adjustable TV stand, replaces the stock one and attaches to the TV like a wall mount bracket would.
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K
This way you can remove the stock legs, raise the tv up enough to put the center channel under the TV.
Those legs are atrocious.....get one of these..they are very nice.
I used to have my 65" B7A on a stand like one of these to make room for a large center channel underneath. Mine isn't listed on Amazon anymore, but there are tons on there to choose from; some swivel, some have adjustable heights, etc. Anyhow you could use one of those and then, if you wanted you could use a mount like this to float the Arc.
Here’s a basic, quick review:
Most importantly: it was not broken lol it arrived in great condition. It must weigh like 30lbs and wasn’t hard to carry inside.
Install: I’m hooked it up to a TV standstand mount that I also got from Amazon.
Setup: Straightforward. It started to download/install updates for google tv. Took about 45 mins total.
Picture quality: I tested it on some Apple TV + shows & movies, The Batman (HBOmax) and The Moon Knight (Disney+). Once I calibrated to how to my tastes, it was incredible. Now I can’t speak for other HDR TV’s but I have a MacBook Pro 16” 2021 and brightness on that thing blinds me sometimes. The U6G1 is 600 Nits vs the MBP’s 1600 nits. That being said, I personally enjoyed the U6G1 as much as the MBP. One thing that I made sure to do was to turn off the soap opera effect. To do that you need to first 1.) watch what you want, 2.) THEN click settings -> picture -> advanced settings 3.) turn off “Motion Enhancement” & “Motion Clearness.” That should solve it. You can also back out one step and just above advanced settings there an option that says “Apply Picture Settings” and you should choose “All Sources” (one last thing: depending on what source you’re watching it’ll either say “HDR” or “Dolby Vision”)
Audio: I used Bluetooth headphones firectly from the Tv (glad Google TV is added this as this is probably my favorite feature on Roku) and I noticed a slight delay. I fixed it with the Kodi app which allows some slight alterations to sound audio. While not perfect, it’s helps. And the delay does not always occur, but when it does it’s nice to know this app helps.
Comparisons to previously owned units: comparing this to my current TV wouldn’t be fair lol. Granted, I’ve previously owned a Panasonic Plasma TV back when it was giving Pioneer Kuro’s are run for their money but this quality is truly above that. Technology has come a long way.
Not sure what else to say other than hope you get just as good a unit or better than I did. And make sure to register for the warranty. Enjoy :)
You don't have to mount the TV. Could use a stand like this
You can raise the tv pretty high with many universal vesa stands like this one. I can lift my 65" tv above a huge infinity rc263 center with that exact one. It's probably about 9" tall.
Like other posters have already mentioned the slim center channels make big compromises in design - so much that if you have decent main speakers I would not bother with them at all. For instance JBL 135c. If you are not getting a decent 3 way center I would just stick to high quality mains and try 2.1 before considering adding a center. In most 5.1 content the center will do a TON of the work so it does not make sense to get a low quality speaker.
As for the slim avrs yes they probably top out at 50wpc but that is enough for small-medium rooms with efficient speakers. Especially if you are crossing the bass over to a subwoofer. And the marantz ones have front preouts so you can add a power amp if you need to.

>I previously had (still have in storage) a pioneer c22 center
>
>The issue with the center speaker for me is that I don't want to mount the TV on the wall, and I don't want to mount a speaker over the tv either. Wife veto. So no where to place a bulky center.

The Pioneer is adequate. You can get a VESA TV stand and put the center underneath. I use this one ($50). Ideally something like the Infinity RC252 or RC263 center (or the original Primus center) would be a better match and are fairly cheap when they go one sale every couple of months. I can fit a RC263 under my 65" TV with said stand.
>How much difference would a higher end sub make over a lower end
A lot, especially for home theater. I would look to get a 12" ported one at least. See https://www.reddit.com/r/hometheater/comments/7q5jmw/why_spending_money_on_a_subwoofer_is_important_a/
I got this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T72QG3K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just get this, ongoing lightning deal on it right now: https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K
You could try a table top mount like this: https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Swivel-Stand-Base/dp/B07T72QG3K
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T72QG3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QUMvFb51NGC4G
Something like that? That's what I use for my LG Oled. I put the middle speaker on the stand and just use some felt leg covers to raise up the edges of the speaker to level
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T72QG3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RxAqFbGGET6YK it is glass, but seems very sturdy and I don't plan on moving it, so I think it'll be good for now.

I ended up getting the third option I mentioned in my original post.
I installed my 55" KS8000 on the second highest option (it has the ability to go one higher) as you can see in this pic and it fits perfectly! Remember my center speaker (Elac C5) is ~8".
On the highest setting I had about 11" of clearance and my TV is 56.8" high. This is just to give you a rough idea, because obviously your TV will be different depending on where the mounting hardware is installed on the back.
