I've seen tv mounting kits that come with small spacers like in this https://www.amazon.co.uk/PERLESMITH-Universal-Mounting-Hardware-Fits-Kit/dp/B07KF5RG66/ which I suppose would be strong enough. Is this similar to what you will use?
