I have a TCL as well and tried doing this but my feet only would go on the stock way. I purchased this to avoid having to buy a new surface to put the TV on and I couldn’t be happier. Easy installation and looks very sharp.
Bricks, text books, reams of paper, scrap wood… cover with fabric to make it look nice.
Or you can buy one of these: PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 37-55 inch LCD LED TVs - Height Adjustable TV Base Stand with Tempered Glass Base & Wire Management, VESA 400x400mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_1PX81V61H1H6P3BVQ5F0
this tv stand or something similar. Let’s you raise it to whatever reasonable height you need. Works like a mount but sits on a stand.
PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 32-55 inch LCD LED TVs - $34 Amazon US at time of this post.
Cheers, mate - PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 32-55 inch LCD LED TVs - $34 Amazon US.
My desk has a wall across the back of it -- can't use a monitor arm. The TV stand was "a happy little mistake" that worked perfectly lol.
I'm going to buy this the height would be perfect if it was one or two inches higher.
I bought a $20 stand for this, and it was absolutely amazing for giving my TV stand some real estate for my other stuff. Given it is not a wall mount(Nothing but cermet/drywall in this old apartment house)but it will do.
Worked great for my 48" C1. I am not sure how good it would be for the other sizes. Goes on sale for $20-$25 all the time for anyone needing something different than the chunky base stand that comes with the 48" C1.
Hi - PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 37-55 inch LCD LED TVs - $32 Amazon US - stand is rated for up to 88 lbs - LG C1 48" weighs 35 lbs without stand.
Hi - the link you posted does not work - I cannot offer any notes on comparison.
PERLESMITH universal tv stand supports up to 88 lbs. LG C1 48" without stand weighs 32.8 lbs.
Base is thick without comically huge and I was very surprised at the weight of the unit -- it has some heft to it!

I use this on our bedroom TV that sits on our dresser to give it some extra height above the soundbar so it doesn’t block the screen at all. It’s height adjustable so you can set it the height you need and is very stable.
I mean this is cool and all and pretty neat if you’re very handy but you can just get a universal table top stand for $25 and it lets you push the TV all the way to the edge of the table
Or just get a universal desk stand
Limited-time deal: PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 37-55 inch LCD LED TVs - Height Adjustable TV Base Stand with Tempered Glass Base & Wire Management, VESA 400x400mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dl_DZKFWZ4GDD7KTB3NZEXM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It’s $25 and let’s you push it all the way to the back.
Mainly did it to push the oled back as far as possible without wallmounting since i’m renting.
This is the stand. Rated for 88 pounds. Just a glass base kinda scares me but I cant find anything non glass comparable.
I used this from Amazon

Get a new TV feet that has a support in the middle and connects to the VESA mounting on the back of the TV. That’s what I had to do. Amazon has a ton of universal tv feet to choose from.

Looks fine at the height it is now for a typical couch. This is what I used when I couldn't drill into my walls while living in a apartment. Not the exact model, but close.
If it is very temporary(6 months?) I wouldn't even bother doing too much more than that.

Buy something like that and then it won’t matter what size the TV is because the stand will be in the middle!
Get a TV bracket for your TV. They make a super difference for those of us who don’t own our home and can’t wall mount
I use this PERLESMITH stand on my adjustable standing desk with a 48" CX. Works great and very stable. Am able to push the screen all the way to the back of the desk.
It helps to get a tv stand like this instead of using those feet that a lot of TVs come with that can get too far apart sometimes. Stands like this also fit on top of the dressers if anyone wanted to put a TV in their room (I do that with a 40 ish inch TV and it’s great for chilling in a corridor style room especially) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_WCQGJ4A17JJFD5ATNE4Q
> so it will need to have a centrally mounted stand
You can buy a stand like this off amazon or equivalent:
Just one example:

"PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 37-55 inch LCD LED TVs - Height Adjustable TV Base Stand with Tempered Glass Base & Wire Management, VESA 400x400mm"
The wide feet thing kind of bugs me too, but saves manufacturers money.
Until these comments, I never knew you could simply get a different stand. First time buying a TV, and my mind is blown.
Do you think this would do the trick?www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm\_sw\_em\_r\_mt\_dp\_XM8KQJS3V84TTRVQ8J8S?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
From my understanding the S35 is tinny and people don't like it and complain about voice clarity. You want the S30 center instead. Buy a stand to raise your TV above the speaker
your TV has 300mmx300mm VESA mount patern and weights 36.7lbs.
Literally hundreds of products to mount it.. you can put 300x300 vesa in Amazon and will have tons of different mounts..
If I understand, you want something like this linked below, or maybe I don't quite get what you are looking for??
Yep I've seen that option, cheaper too on Amazon
This could work...
PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 37-55 inch LCD LED TVs - Height Adjustable TV Base Stand with Tempered Glass Base & Wire Management, VESA 400x400mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1405DbR90ZH54
Your TV makes me nervous! You might try something like this I put my mom’s TV on one. It works great, and when you can’t mount the think on a wall due to rental (or whatever) it works.
Just get a universal TV stand that’s adjustable and put the center under the TV.
Something like this.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_t1_2FHrDbCRD86WW
Edit: just saw you have a 65” they make stands for that too, I just wanted to give you a general idea of the stand type.
i'd check for burn in and offer 150. having many panasonic plasmas myself, I think they are vesa compatible. I just ordered a tabletop mount for my sony oled, which came with this tilting mount stand which I didnt like.
i got these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
the stand is fine, if a bit wobbly when you touch it, so I got some anti tip anchors to attach the stand to the back of the shelf its sitting on
about 28 inches away.
Personally I’m not fan of the LG stands this includes the OLEDs, I bought a replacement stand on Amazon and I prefer the way it looks.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
great stand for this setup!
Look into TV stands that will raise your TV up off the top of your the console
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/
30" desk if fine... the stand on LG C1 48 is the problem -- it's about 8-9 inches deep and the screen sits at the front of the stand.
I replaced the stock stand on my 48C1 with a universal TV stand -- the post sits at the rear of the base -- which means the screen is closer to the rear of the desk. It works great!
LG C1 48" using 30" desk -- front view
LG C1 48" using 30" desk -- side view
PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand - Table Top TV Stand for 32-55 inch LCD LED TVs - Amazon US - $32
>since my TV has to sit on it
yea don't do that. get a tv stand like this https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ that will allow you to raise the height of the TV to properly fit a center and not have it support the weight of a TV.
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG
get that TV stand, that way you can then put your center channel on top of what you have, gets it higher up and all that.
Or get a stand like this https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG to raise the TV and put the center under the TV.
Raise the tv a few inches. Like this.

Has anyone built their own version of something like this and care to share what they did? I'm looking for some inspiration other than cobbling together something with 2x4s
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG
You can use a universal TV stand to raise your TV to accomodate pretty much any center speaker.
Here is my old TV mounted up on it. It was a Hisense H8G, great budget gaming TV, it had those tiny pegs for legs so this was a great solution. Thats 55in, I'm hoping it can hover my 48in C1 just a few inches off the ground as it'll be a monitor too. Will update when I get there!
Edit: Found an original picture of my landlord's cat interested in what I believe was Rayman Legends (or Origins)
Edit 2: Here is a link to the stand in question. Bought another (one size up) to support my family's 65in X900E in the basement, thing is an absolute beast, raises the TV nicely, cleans up cables, and allows for swivel.
How about something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG
I attempted to link to the Perlesmith one, so it's nice to see that in your reply.

Or one of the various other models that’s the same thing but with different capabilities and sizes
I personally use a 40" 2020 Vizio V-Series 4k as a monitor on one of my computers that I got from Costco for ~$200 (plus this stand for $20 used) and honestly can't tell much difference in quality vs. my $300 1440p computer monitors -- maybe the biggest downside being the gloss and not matte screen. Text is plenty sharp, the extra real estate is fantastic (it's really nice coming from a 4x 1080P setup lol -- same number of pixels but no bezels separating them!), and I'm happy playing games on it / haven't noticed any ghosting or issues with input lag etc. Have a big desk so it sits 4ft away from my eyeballs, making the viewing angles not a big deal.
RTINGS gives it a 7.2 as a PC Monitor, saying that: >The Vizio V Series is a decent TV for use as a PC monitor. It has low input lag, supports most common resolutions, and can display proper chroma 4:4:4. However, its mediocre response time causes more motion blur, and its narrow viewing angles make the edges of the screen look inaccurate if you sit too close.
>PROS
>Excellent contrast ratio.
>Good reflection handling.
>Low input lag.
>CONS
>Doesn't get very bright.
>Mediocre response time.
>Poor viewing angles.
I'm actually considering picking up a second to use as a monitor at work!
You can buy a central tv stand from amazon. You mount the TV on the back of the mount so you don't need the feet that come with it. It looks like this.
You can't place the C below the TV with something like this?

This works great. TV Stand
You can get a different mount that's in the center too, something like this
It is not height adjustable. It's about 3 9/16" from base to bottom of monitor. The stand does feel a little clunky. I just ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MJZ6ZG/ as a replacement on the recommendation of this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/jh1jgh/stand_for_a_34_ultrawide/
We'll see how it goes.

They make multiple versions depending if you need tilt.
Yep! Something like this https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_uK8FFb6JVDCVN
he's talking about something like this: https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/
A TV stand might allow you to raise the TV up enough to put the center channel underneath it
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/
If you cannot wall mount, get a speaker stand to raise your TV
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/
You need a height adjustable TV stand so you can get the TV up high enough to put the center channel and speakers underneath. Something like this might work
https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Stand-Adjustable-Management/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/
There's always a passable work-around solution to this. Check out a VESA-mount TV base stand, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_XtWiFb3WMWEW3
You could spend a little more and get an s30. Then use something like this to be compatible with your tv stand, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MJZ6ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_rBuCDb96GVKW7
TV stand like this that has an adjustable height.
