i don't know if this is what you are looking for, but it's an interesting read - https://www.amazon.com/Persona-Non-Grata-Disenchantment-Revolution/dp/1560256079 (that looks like an english translation, but it's certainly available in spanish because i read it in spanish).

it illuminates both the cuban and chilean movements and is written from a leftist viewpoint that's not particularly sympathetic to the cubans (allende's ambassador to cuba). however, because of that, it may contain less about cuba than you want.
