I always recommend this to people who are dealing with reactive/aggressive dogs:
It's basically compressed air but it's a LOT louder. I've used it a total of two times on my dog, both times stopped her dead in her tracks. It's harmless and effective. If a dog is antagonizing you - PSSSHHT!! I bet they'll stop real quick.
Just fixed this in my house. Like no joke, I fixed it yesterday.
Just give this a spray when your cat does bad shit. Scares them away from doing it more.
I used pet corrector. See link below. One of my cats was very persistent and this was the only thing that worked. It took a couple nights to fix his habit but only a couple sprays each night and he left me alone. I keep my door closed and have it beside me in bed. When he scratched, I would only depress it once. Repeat for each time he scratches. It won't take long. Do not spray directly at the cat.

I had a Rottie chase me down and nearly knock me off my bike because he wanted to say hi. I didnt even know it was chasing me until it was on me. I was surprised he was licking me instead of bitting me tbh.
A dog who is agressive wont chase you down and attack you unless its theyre last defense or if they were trained to. I find most dogs who chase cyclists see cyclists as a fun game.
Instead of pepper spray, I would use a Pet Corrector that uses Air so it wont hurt the dog. Its the ignorant Owners fault thats the dog acts like that, and the dog shouldnt get hurt because of it.

Have a look at this thing. It works like a "horn". Pretty useful.
That’s not very nice. Seriously though. Amazon has a bunch of products like this that are miniature air horns, not pepper spray.

I feel for you and normally would keep scrolling but a recent tip from a friend changed my life and I had to share. I’m the proud owner of two Yorkies—this breed is notoriously yappy. They barked at everything- I mean everything—doorbell ringing, the sound of foil being unwrapped, if we put a glass cup down on the counter too harshly they’d loose it. They were running my household up until I started using this spray each time they barked.
It’s called Pet Corrector and is a small aerosol can that emits a loud hissing sound that startles the dog when pressed- sounds like a snake. Doesn’t harm the dog and only emits air. Also, you don’t spray it too close to them. Trained both of my dogs by making all of the noises they would normally bark at (knocked on the front door, rang the doorbell, etc) and each time they barked- I’d spray. The sound is similar to the one the dog whisperer, Cesar Milan makes when he’s training dogs but louder. They stopped barking at normal day to day noises too avoid hearing the pet corrector. It saved my ears and my sanity. I know this doesn’t solve all of the issues you listed, but hopefully it helps with at least one of them. Good luck friend!

Horns such as these are supposed to work but I haven’t tried them
