This is Petsfit bird carrier i got on Amazon. It is expensive (90$ I believe) but i done tons of research & according to reviews this one is tge best. My bird is completely safe in it & now she joins my dog walks!
The quality is exquisite, it is designed so bird is not exposed & front window has a flap cover, side windows as well, it is also well sufficient for long term travel such as moving towns or go long trips.
I would suggest this link pet carrier for the birds. It is expensive but suits for most keets/parrots& can be covered completely from all sides. I use it to bring my birds to the vet using electric scooter. I also use it to bring my birds for dog walks or outside hangouts (one of my parrots is terrified of crows & magpies so she needs it to be shielded from all the sides when we are out. When Im scooting I cover it completely & there was not once an incident with panic attacks on their behalf!
Budgies are extremely easy to get traumatized by relocation & even exposure to outdoors stuff in a wrong way may cause a heart attack. So I would not recommend open carrier or one of those astronaut bubble backpacks cuz bird can just flip out & hurt itself or worse
It's acrylic and it does turn into a greenhouse effect! Make sure to keep pets in bags like this out of the sun, on cooler days, and get a little fan for the pocket that has mesh leading to the bag. I opted for a safe option in the Petsfit Bird Backpack. Has a perch (wrapped it in vet wrap), food bowl, and hole for a water bottle. The front is clear vinyl and has a shade flap, the sides are mesh with shade flaps, there are holes at the top for hanging toys and airflow, and it has a tray at the bottom for the P O O P. It's great! Expensive, but great!
Oh, I guess that would be helpful 😅 I have the Petsfit carrier. It's so affordable for how durable it was/is. When I tell you not a single thing is wrong with it, I mean it. Atlas got slightly wet, but not even as much as when she baths herself.
I use the Petsfit Carrier and I really like it. I live in Florida where it gets pretty hot and I was looking at the bubble carriers but was also worried about the heat. This ones really sturdy and can be worn as a backpack, side satchel, or carried. It's not heavy so carrying it hasn't been an issue. It also straps into seat belts really securely. The side panels are mesh and the front is plastic but all three have additional flaps that can be attached over top of them if you need to shade the bird or it gets to scared or anything.
Im using Petsfit Bird Carrier link
It is extremely convenient & high quality backpack with a lot of adjustments to make birds trips as comfortable as possible. I did a lot of research before getting it & it was totally worth the money
Its tricky to find one that is actually parrot safe since most are designed for cats & look cool but are most likely not 100% bird safe since most have holes & materials that bird can shred from the inside.
After several hours of research & reading some reviews I decided to get Petsfit bird carrier
It is not cheap but also not overly exposed & has a cover for the window
You must not have looked very hard because it’s on the first result page for the search “bird backpack”
It’s this one! (Not OP). I have it too and my birds love it

These are what I use PetsfitBirdCarrier for long distance travels since it has a food bowl and ability to support a water bottle which is what I would recommend if taking a tiel on vacation with you or somewhere far if you don’t got a pet sitter:
Than BirdCarrierCage is what I’m using in this video I love it for walks and anything under 2-3 hours, even supports a USB fan for more ventilation.
Just following up a little up in the comment thread so you actually see it. Here’s the link for the backpack
