Love the color scheme you've got going on. The area in front of the GPU looks a little too dark compared to the rest of the pc. I'd suggest an led strip like this to illuminate that area. I could send you a picture of my pc to help get the point across
One of the best looking one would be this product. You can find some cheaper ones but you'll see individual LEDs (not diffused).
I don't believe there's a way to adapt that as the P400A should have an ARGB 5V plug, but the product you bought has the 12V plug. This item has the correct 3 Pin connector for the P400A daisy chain

So apparently you can daisy chain it into other RGB products however with ICUE I can’t so I have it plugged directly into the mobo. It’s compatible with a lot of programs but I don’t think for ICUE and that’s what I use. I have to tinker with it and download others to see what I can do. The rainbow is the default. But apparently it can do a lot and the compatible programs are listed on that page!
I think it kind of depends on the effects you want to see from the RGB on the fans. You could use one RGB strip on the 3-pin and the three fans daisy chained on the other and set up an alternating pattern. I have two RGB strips on one connector running a waterfall effect and 3 fans on the other so I know it is possible. You may need to purchase some male/female 3-pin ARGB connectors to make sure everything chains.
I didn't have good luck mixing RGB and ARGB mainly because the RGB looked so much worse and was much more limited than the ARGB that I ended up just removing it. I swapped my standard RGB strip for this one and it makes everything look much better: https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-Digital-RGB-Strip-Combo-PH-NELEDKT\_CMBO/dp/B07XLPH8WW/ref=sr\_1\_15?dchild=1&keywords=argb%2Bstrip&qid=1634208783&sr=8-15&th=1
I have the MSI Carbon so I know the Mystic Light software is "picky" to put it nicely, but with some trial and error you can find a nice look.
Hey it look good but I think it would look better if you swapped that LED strip for a Phanteks Led strip, the diffusion is very good and you can’t see individual LED’s https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-NEON-Digital-RGB-Strip-PH-NELEDKT_M1/dp/B07XLPH8WW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=phanteks+led+strip&qid=1618896265&sr=8-3
Hey, I did exactly what you did. Was eyeing the DRGB model for the LED strip, but no stock. I purchased the non-RGB model and a pack of 3 Phanteks 140mm fans for the front.
Phanteks also makes a diffused LED strip, linked below, that I purchased to hopefully utilize in a similar way.

There’s a couple different setups and you will need to make sure you have the appropriate controllers and connectors but this could be what you’re looking for.
take a look at the phanteks neon digital rgb strip , they got 400mm x2 kit, 1meter kit , 500mm kit. There's literally no hotspot/gap btw the led, unless u use rgb app to set it to led strip mode.
Also i dont know why the pricing so weird, 400x2 is cheapest among the kit at asia, but at uk amazon its the most expensive lol

it would look cleaner if you removed that RGB Strip at the bottom that just makes it look gaudy everything else is legit... maybe get one of those diffused strips that some companies like phanteks have
I’d go with this right here. . The long version Is available, They aren’t available now but I have 2 of the 400mm version. You will need this to make them work with the commander pro and RGB hub because it has the standard RGB 3 prong thing at the end. You then just tell ICUE it’s a Ls100 strip and boom a cheap alternative. You just have to be careful because I think 2 400mm are the max number of LEDs that will work in a series. I think they are thinner and easier to snake around the case it looks awesome nice and diffused.
I think u/mainsource77 is using the Phantek LED Strips. I purchased this LED strip and I was lucky that they were on sale a week ago for 11 dollars on Amazon. So my kids and wife are getting it for Xmas so that their PC can look awesome too! LOL.Phanteks LED Strips5V 3Pin Extension Hub: just in case if you do go LED Strip and you don't have enough 5V 3Pin RGB connection on your motherboard, this hub gives you 10 connections.
Good morning,
Thank you and I'm glad to share. You will get addicted to PC building. I also responded to another person with links for the 12.6in display mod and all items needed for it if you are interested in doing a display mod. Also just in case you like RGB, I purchased the Phanteks LED strip and I was lucky that they were on sale a week ago for 11 dollars. So my kids and wife are getting it for Xmas so that their PC can look awesome too! L OL.
I'm using an AMD board from ASRock, the X670E Taichi Carrara. I really like the white on it, but if you are running an Intel processor, there are white boards out there. As for the GPU, yes you can paint it, but I went the plasti dip route so that if something happens to my GPU, I can pull the paint off and send it back for warranty.
No prob! If you want some subtle lighting, look into the Phanteks Neon line. Really sharp looking. https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-NEON-Digital-RGB-Strip-PH-NELEDKT_M1/dp/B07XLPH8WW/
i think these look classy af https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-Digital-RGB-Strip-Combo-PH-NELEDKT_CMBO/dp/B07XLPH8WW/
These are the best looking RGB strips on the market imo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XLPH8WW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_1M70WPTFGQGVHBGFGSZB
You truly did an amazing job. Thank you for sharing your build. I'm assuming these are the strips you used? I seen the description but you don't say which ones.
