I have this red/blue light working for about 6-7h a day in my bedroom (using a timer plug). I would have it run longer but I end up taking work calls that don't look as good with pink light drowning everything (nor can I run it while I'm sleeping).
The light is mounted next to the window facing all my plants, this means I have it mounted vertically with the LED facing horizontally. The plants are arranged within a 1.5m radius around the window/light. The plants closest to the light are growing about twice as fast as the ones in the back rows. If you throw a humidifier in the mix, you'll have consistent fast growth all year round.
Im not sure that would give sufficient light,
https://www.amazon.com/Phlizon-Thermometer-Humidity-Adjustable-Spectrum/dp/B0752CL6KJ This one would be alot better, id try and give the plant natural sunlight while u wait for it😊 u shoulnt have to support the stems, only when they* have heavy buds on it
I'm using a light similar to this one (I can't find the exact one I have). I'm guessing the light isn't the most powerful which is why the buds are still kind of small at this stage? https://www.amazon.ca/Phlizon-Thermometer-Humidity-Adjustable-Spectrum/dp/B0752CL6KJ

I wouldn’t use natural light growing indoors you can’t control that and as they said it isn’t enough
This is a good starter light that comes with a hygrometer which should help you with humidity readings especially in Texas, you want it to be between 20 - 40%
It’s a Phlizon 600W LED, I’m very new to using lights as this is my first indoor grow but from what I’ve experienced a LED is great if you’re limited with space as your plants can get very close to the light without burning/bleaching, also they rank fairly highly in terms of efficiency so definitely a major consideration for a stealth grow although it pays to have a look at different brands/wattages to find the light that best overall suits your needs; for example this light was longer/skinnier than some other squarer lights available so was a better fit for the tent :)
Here is a link for the model I used:
No seriously I appreciate the help. Just ordered this as a replacement hopefully it does the trick.

What about this one? 600W but it costs the same. It seems like there are some reviews from fellow weed growers, but most of them say they are using it for 2 plants per light. Would it be able to feed 4 plants?
A little about my setup: 2x4x5 tent, Proper carbon filtered ventilation, Oscillating fan, 3 autoflowers in 3gal fabric pots, Humidifier
The first piece of equipment I bought for my tent setup was this light. I wish I knew more before I bought it.
Hard to tell at this point how good the light is, but after reading so many posts here it seems like I should have gone the route of Marshydro or spider farm. So maybe you can help me make a decision going forward.
I don’t have lots of $ to spend so I’d rather not essentially throw this out and buy the best other option. So, here’s what I could do.
Buy another light from this brand and daisy chain them. Not sure if 2x these lights would be good enough or still not great.
Add an HCL or two as I’ve heard complimenting LEDs with CFLs can be a good thing, but I don’t know enough to confirm this.
Just complete this grow with the one light and save for a couple months to buy something far better for my next round of plants. The big q here for me is, will this light make do for my 3 plant grow? Yes I know it might not yield maximum bud weight/size, but would it suffice, taking into account that I can’t bust out a couple hundo on a new light?
And if I get a brand new light in a couple months, is this light good enough for a separate setup, or should I try and offload it for a few $?

Looks fantastic bro!
My last grow I had one tent with a $300 SF2000 and the other with some shitty Amazon blurple light.
Long story short the former produced huge, sticky, dense buds and the latter... well I got a little less than 40g off 3 plants. Unfortunately the toofless alien I had growing was in that tent but it still, with the small amount I got, tasted the best. Like candy! Strong smell too. I’m growing another one now with the same light in both tents and I can’t wait to have a ton of it.
Keep up the good work:)
P.S. anyone out there never buy this light it’s a piece of dog shit
Hi everyone,
I have a few citrus trees in my house moved inside for the winter. I’ve been keeping grow lights on them for 8-12 hours a day. I have about 4 of these lights hanging maybe 1-2 feet above the trees. The trees get no direct sunlight.
They are in the same room as where I work and the lights are pretty bright so the 8-12 hours is broken up and it’s not consistent throughout the day.
The room is about 60-80 degrees but usually hovers at about 68-70 and the soil temps look like they’re at 65. The soil is the 5-1-1 soil mixture.
The trees seem to be struggling but haven’t had mass leaf drop. The leaves get droopy like in the pictures. I haven’t watered 2/3 in the photo in over a week and don’t want to risk overwatering them. It just seems like a slow decline for them.
Are my lights too powerful? What could be causing their health to deteriorate?

How important is it to have a switch from veg to flower? And the fact that it's full spectrum is that a big plus? God so many variables haha
would something like this work for 2 plants?
the most i could spend is like £150 on a light but if I do buy that I will probably need something to put the temperature down because it's already 28 C in my tent because its so hot outside. thx for the help !
My mistake, I thought it was a 300 but it’s 600w

I saw a comment about that the other day, I think I will try that method for a few plants on Monday when my new light arrives. Here is a link to the light I ordered, link. Let me know what you think!
This post will get downvoted to oblivion, but sadly this is simply the wrong sub to ask this question, unfortunately. As usual when this question gets asked here, every answer is ignoring your query, dismissing your budget, and instead is insisting that you NEED to spend 2-3 times as much instead. This simply isn't true, and this elitist attitude creates an unnecessary obstacle to people wanting to get their feet wet in this hobby.
You can achieve perfectly acceptable results with a 600 watts LED like this one..
Similarly, this one is a good choice for getting started.
In point of fact, there is a ton of snobbery and bro-science in this hobby. Interestingly the latest research on this subject seems to indicate that tuned-spectrum grow-lights might even be a waste of money, and that bog-standard 5000k LED light bulbs might be perfectly adequate for maximizing indoor-growing yields, at the least.
The Impact of Light Intensity and Spectrum-Tuning on Cannabis Yields
>The results show that holding all else constant, cannabis yields are primarily driven by the intensity of the lighting, whereas there is little evidence that tuned-spectrum lights have a significant increase in yield versus general-purpose, broad-spectrum lights. Moreover, the positive, apparently linear relationship between intensity and yields continues at least to 1500 µmols/m2· s, which is over twice the level provided by an HPS fixture in a grow configuration, which is currently the industry standard. These results are important for two reasons: First, many horticulture LED lights are tuned-spectrum varieties that justify a significant price premium above commoditized broad-spectrum LEDs by arguing that their proprietary spectrum increases the value of a grower’s yields. It is possible that spectrum tuning may improve the cannabinoid profile substantially enough to justify a price premium, but our results provide no evidence that spectrum tuning increases yields. Rather, the more profitable strategy would be to buy commoditized, high-intensity, broad-spectrum LEDs (like flood lights), which are about one-third the cost per watt of horticulture LEDs. The second reason these results are important is that the vast majority of growers use HPS lights. Those who use LED lights are using lights that were designed to use less electricity while providing the same light intensity as an HPS. Our results suggest that both these strategies reduce the grower’s expected profits, since both provide less light than is optimal when trying to maximize yields.
Having read this, I purchased these LED bulbs, splitters, and hanging cords from Amazon, and am running two of those on a single plant in my north facing window as an experiment. So far, the plant is doing just fine, and it seems to be progressing as well as the plant I have under a 600 watt COB.
Hi there I got my setup completely from Amazon. There set options but picked my parts myself. Lights: I got 2 of these https://www.amazon.com/Phlizon-Thermometer-Humidity-Adjustable-Spectrum/dp/B0752CL6KJ/ref=pd_bap_m_rp_40?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0752CL6KJ&pd_rd_r=6eaa5d83-5724-4c71-9dea-81bfaa40cae0&pd_rd_w=oNlFt&pd_rd_wg=D5o3l&pf_rd_p=665e92...
Tent: Comes in various sizes mine is a 4'x2'x6' wxdxt
I got the dirt and food and pots local. I can see if I can get you the picture of that later. Total was just under 400 for all the main parts no seeds or dirt or food included.
Here is an other option as a whole set.
Feel free to ask more if you got questions.

And this tent
Smell isn't going to be an issue, the whole complex reeks of weed anyways, chances of being raided are low so realistically I could have it out in the open but fuck that. Looking for mainly an automatic watering system or something I can control from my phone, pots (gonna plant six plants) and some form of camera to keep an eye when I go away for a few days, I can sort that one myself I think just needs to be connected to the phone.
This light.

I will have one 5x5 with either setup mentioned above and two space totes using a 600w led light each. I'm trying to use all of the same brand equipment to limit the amount of manufacturers to keep up with and monitor warranties with. Any suggestions, experiences and advice welcome.
