Understood, tent or bucket, an activated carbon filters the only way. This is the smallest one I’ve found. If you come across anything smaller please share! 4 x 12 Phresh Carbon Filter
The VenTech filters in that fan/filter bundle are garbage, IMO (as in, I don't think mine worked at all). The fan works fine... but some might find it a little noisy. If you are concerned about smell, just save yourself the headaches and start with a good filter. I switched to a Phresh filter, and it works like a charm. THIS ONE should match up nicely with your setup.
ABS fumes and photoresin fumes are two different beasts.
Never run a photon without adequate ventilation or a filter.
I built something like this, and it works great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY8JiDXpMxY
As long as you use an inline fan (not a duct fan) with the same 4" connector, you should be good.
If you can afford it, a 4" Phresh filter + 4" Active Air inline will treat you well. Grab a fan speed controller as well. That'll let you turn the fan down, keeping things much quieter.
There are (much) more expensive inlines that produce less noise. If that's a big worry.
You can spend half as much as Phresh + Active Air, but the filter will need to be replaced far more often. And the cheaper inlines (Apollo, iPower, etc.) don't last.
If at all possible, try and buy your inline from a store nearby. Grow shop, or industrial supply. They should have walk-in/walk-out warranties. If your fan goes mid-flower, you can't wait 3 days for a replacement to ship out.
