If you want a good read these two books go into the search and finding of the only two 100% know pirate ships the Whydah Merchant and the Golden Fleece. They both are interested in facts and go into the lives of the pirates in good detail. The books on William Kidd are good also, he was a gentleman who as essential forced into piracy by his crew.
