What is Reddit's opinion of Plain Style: Techniques for Simple, Concise, Emphatic Business Writing?

I think some of this is just a lack of strong technical writing... insert my usual plug for Plain Style https://www.amazon.com/Plain-Style-Techniques-Emphatic-Business/dp/081441429X/.

For instance, "I fell ur full of crap" is more clearly written "ur full of crap".

I'd like to see a better written layout of this argument... you get sucked into the technical writing and lose the thread yourself.

1. Is Bankei a Zen Master

   • What is mind-to-mind transmission
   • Is there a way to sound Zen sincerely w/o enlightenment
   • What does it mean academically to be part of the tradition

2. What is Zen outside the context of the Chinese tradition

   • Zen traditions, what are they
   • Zen traditions, are they relevant to enlightenment
   • Claiming to be a Zen Master versus other people claiming for you

3. What is the Zen catechism?

   • What does it mean, practically, to not have a nest or to follow the bird path?
   • What can dharma heirs tell us about Zen Masters?
   • What would it mean to be a Zen Master outside the tradition

4. Japanese culture v/s Zen

   • Is it even possible to be Japanese in the cultural sense and be a Zen Master?
   • Were Zen Masters part of Chinese culture?
   • Is there an argument for there be a conflict between Zen culture and a person's nationalism, social context, political views?

Idk if any of these is more relevant or even if they are interesting...
