Thanks for the reply! I appreciate any input with this issue. Another question I have in response would be asking about mono chat headsets like this one:

Would any mono chat headset cause the same result, switching speaker settings to stereo?

Cool. I picked up this thing which I've seen recommended before and it's great. I have a $2k speaker setup so it's silly for me to route sound to my headset but it depends on your situation.

I was using the little earpiece from my DS4 but it really blocks the sound in that ear. This prevents that 😎

I had to install the drivers listed as only $30 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Gaming-Headset-100HX-Range/dp/B075DK78FW. So that pretty much update the drivers too and nothing worked, so I guess it means that the APK you are trying to use.

It does appear to be PC-compatible, but there are references on Plantronics' website referring to a Mixer or Puck that should accompany it, and may act as an amplifier.
