Most of those corrugated metal culvert pipe assemblies that I've seen marketed for fire pits are typically about 12" deep, give or take an inch, and either 36" or 48" wide. This one looks like the 36" wide variety. My guess is about 16"-17" height above ground level for this fire pit.

I received a gravity grill over Christmas and used one of those wide fire pits like this . I'm looking for something that can concentrate the heat a bit more. I love the solo stove but I'm not willing to invest that much (yet).
Maybe something like this? I also thought of simply making a small pit out of bricks but the cost of firebricks are pretty steep and I run the risk of explosions if I use cheap bricks.
