there are a pair of POE ethernet jacks up there for the access point, so I just power the base station with one of these - the directly attached coaxial plug fits perfectly in the base station
I've had one of these powering my Ring Alarm base, it might help if you can find a device that doesn't natively do POE.
You need this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223739546276
And this (if you are using non IQ Nest Outdoor cameras): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAGVVF6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you're using Nest IQ they don't use a USB connection if I remember correctly. You would need to find an ethernet to USB-C adapter.
Then you just purchase an exterior rated cat6 cable from Monoprice and use a plastic junction box to house the USB splitter transition. I ran my cat6 into my garage and they run off an outlet in there.
you can, I did for a while and it was awesome. I actually have two that I would sell you if you need one, last time I checked they were OOS on amazon
I have two of these -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAGVVF6
they were $30 for 2
I don't know about those but I'm using this one for a few months without issue on my nest outdoor. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01NAGVVF6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_HK5BJA80HS9MRNNVJ956?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered a couple of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAGVVF6/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_YZ2IFb3H0HVTR. No problem, i hope things work out for you!
That's for Nest IQ. The OP didn't say IQ.
OP - I would ditch the power cord and rewire your camera(s) via PoE. I have 4 Nest outdoor cameras all running on PoE flawlessly.

There are a few 3rd party companies that make PoE adapters, but I can't speak to their effectiveness, or reliability, or anything.
