We have one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GH8984N/
Got it after we were on a trip with someone who had one. It packs down well, cools off very quickly, and is super light. In winter the radiant heat out of the bottom is great. We use it whenever there is no fire pit at the site or whenever its sufficiently snowy and/or wet that an existing fire pit would be less than ideal.
I bought one of these last year and it's held up well so far.
Amazon has a bunch of different collapsible pits for easy transport. Not sure if that is what you are asking for but here a a few that I found: Campfire Defender - OR - KUAICHAI Portable Fire Pit
I have never used something like this before but they both have good reviews so...
Assuming car/river camping. With fire restrictions in place, many States are requiring fire pans. These are traditionally heavy and unwieldily. These pop-up pits are fantastic: https://www.amazon.com/Pop-Up-Fire-Pit-Portable-Full-Size/dp/B07GH8984N/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=fire+pit+pop+up&qid=1598284280&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExSEtXQkROR1BTMUk2JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjc1NjY2NFM4RzlVU09GVEJXJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0Nzc5NjBIRVk1Mks4SEZCWTYmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
I carry the Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit because I wanted something I can keep in the rig without being messy. The Pop-Up Fire Pit breaks down really small and is light but surprisingly strong. It handles a ton of wood but it’s burns really nicely, all that air under the fire pit prevents smoke. We have the reflective heat shield under the pit to prevent grass burns and it works like a champ.
The only flaw I can find is it drafts so well that it seems to burns wood a little bit faster then in a traditional fire pit.
They sell grates to cook on but I have no experience with them.
