Hey, I have a similar day-to-day, although not a similar body type. My go-to is button-ups in a dark/patterned colorway (my work can be grimey/greasy) which doesn't work for you.
My other work items are:
A ton of work appropriate black v-necks that are useful for layering
Various sweaters, including a sweater blazer that I've been liking a lot.
Several pairs of off-black straight-leg jeans- my go-to day to day.
A pair of olive green trousers to break up the black a little bit
A pair of work boots. I have to wear safety toes but I have a pair that is relatively sleek
A couple polos. Last winter I was enjoying layering these with crewneck sweaters.
Various masks, often a pop of color or contrasting pattern
In the fall/winter, my go-to look is a constant base layer (black tee, offblack jeans) that can get dirty and a third piece on top (sweater, button down, etc) which can be a little bit nicer.
Is it fashion? Idk, sometimes you just have to dress like an entry-level sim. Pay attention to color and fit. Make sure everything looks intentional- especially shoes and accessories.
