I just wear a tight, neutral sports bra. High-cut racerback works best. If it has pads, I take those out. (I actually don't bind at all; that's what I wear basically 24 hours a day.) I'm relatively flat-chested to begin with, though.
For pants, I like men's sweatpants from Target. They make me feel comfy and nicely gender-neutral. In the summer, I do embrace the booty shorts lifestyle. I've noticed that a lot of men wear compression shorts under more flowy-type basketball-ish shorts; that could be a good option if tight-fitting shorts don't feel right for you!
I wear a lot of band shirts (if they aren't already tank tops, I cut out the sleeves, because I guess I'm living up to the dudebro stereotype these days). They're more "me", and they're usually unisex cuts. I've found that works better for me than women's athleticwear, which gives me awful dysphoria.
Here's a weird tip that may or may not apply: I started to feel really good when I started wearing headbands. I'm growing my buzzcut out now that I'm more comfortable with my gender, and wide headbands like these contain my horrible shag-mullet-thing without causing dysphoria. They also contain the buckets of sweat I shed, so they're very practical!
I think you'll just have to experiment to see what's right for you! Good luck!!
Wear a head band underneath your helmet. It will prevent the excessive sweat and on rest stops you can wring it out. I get these on Amazon that are super cheap and do the trick. I still ruin my glasses eventually but this makes a big difference.

While I personally do not use one for MTB (which I should) I use a sweatband for when I am riding motocross. Some use them to keep longer hair out of their face, but with a slim profile, it doesn't interfere with your helmet fit. Washes in the washer just fine and its super inexpensive to solve an annoying problem.
These are the ones I bought. I sweat buckets too and it keeps the sweat out of my eyes. They are practically dripping when I take them off.
If you use a fan, make sure it is hitting your face as that helps a ton too.
Yup! I use a thin sweat band like these and they work great under the Oculus.

Not sure how long your hair is, I bought something like this. Works well to keep my hair out of my eyes

Baldness is not a problem I'll be facing for years to come.
That said, I think a sweat band might be what you need, something thin enough that it can comfortably fit under the halo. This one looks like it might work. This way the Rift-S will slide against the band rather than against your hair.
I bought these from Amazon. Not fond of the look but they are effective. Tried some terry cloth ones and they felt hot, but these don't. I can actually wring water out after and hour ride. For a two hour ride I would recommend a second with a bowl or bucket to hold the used one.
Did the same right after buying my bike - the towels are a home-ride game changer.
Oh, and headbands! I just got these on amazon - if you're a big sweater like me, these are huge! I can literally wring it out when I'm done with a ride. So helpful, especially since I have no idea when I'll be able to cut my hair again.
I wear these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H25M7WF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Didn't like the halo band I tried (anything tight on my head gives me a headache, hats, etc.). They're super light and thin and I don't get sweat in my eyes while riding.
I'm super cheap, so I buy these. They work great and so far, they hold up to repeated cycles in the washing machine.
I’m using the Yoga/Exercise headbands. They’re awesome and keep the sweat out of my eyes. I don’t like the sweat caps because they’re too warm for me.
I use these headbands from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H25M7WF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They help with sweat and with comfort. A+ I recommend them for any VR user, the difference is extremely noticeable.
A decent sweat band. Something like this perhaps will help a lot.
haha, thanks! it's just from amazon. Initially got them to exercise in but they've served me well past that
Yup, I wear a thin one when doing a vr workout - helps a lot!
These are the ones I use: poshei headbands
Since it is a custom/tight fit with silicone, I think that it does a pretty good job of not letting sweat drip down into the gasket area, but I would definitely recommend using a headband if you are playing active games. Sweat has to go somewhere, and the options were gasket itself, cover that is attached to the gasket, or something that you put on your head.
I am using this one in combination with my gasket: https://www.amazon.com/poshei-Headband-Sweatband-Crossfit-Basketball/dp/B07H25M7WF It is thin, so it does not interfere with the fit, and it definitely traps the sweat from forehead and hair.
Yes, US-based, but I don't see why I could not ship internationally.
No matter which you get, I always use a head band and avoid the swear issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H25M7WF
To go with the beanie hat suggestion (a very good one) you could also wear a sweat/headband like this style:
I am not bald yet I buzz my hair down to the lowest setting with an electric razor and wear one of these types of bands.
Yep this. I bought some of these and I never get sweat in my eyes anymore.

My dumb head is sensitive to hats and headbands, usually giving me a headache if I wear them. These don't do that like the Halo band did.
I'm not a guy, but a girl with long enough hair that it gets into my face -- I'm assuming that's the problem you're asking about? I don't know how long your hair is so a hair towel might be overkill, but that's what I use. Otherwise you could use a hair band (like this or this) for the few seconds it takes to put on moisturiser.

I am playing BoxVR and it makes me DRENCHED after a workout. (I am out of shape and some extra pounds too)

I just got these in today to help with sweat, and they do help some, but i still overpowered them:
