And then please also get her something romantic and personal.
I feel you. I'm in the same boat. DH and I have started having our LO wash the walls with Magic Eraser. We got her a few huge easel pads from Staples to stick to the walls and keep blank copy paper in bulk. She's getting better and doesn't do it as much, but we have to remind her to color on paper sometimes. I suggest hiding every permanent marker though. Alcohol based products work pretty well to get it off of skin.
I'm almost 38 weeks and cringe every time I look at the uncleaned walls and doors. 😅
While not pallet sized they can get quite large.
> making it a jumbled mess.
That's the point, the idea/plan won't come up neatly.
You can continue with the Moleskine, keep on planning, then re-planning, the plan some more. Or you could use other tools:
If the medium on how to start journaling and/or the Moleskine that you bought after deciding that you had to journal is what's stopping you from starting the business, read this recent comment of mine.
Look for an easel pad that sticks to the wall. Example
I did just this where I work. I work in quasi-government; we're a regulatory body, but not with the Ministry of Health. I was just seeking to inspire people. No strings attached. No restrictions. They could use it for work or personal or both. I won't mix personal with work and I gave my reasons why as a hint that they shouldn't either, but that's ultimately up to them.
I used all my own material, and took nothing from the company supply room. I knew I didn't want any of that hanging over me or anybody else.
I printed out 3 sheets of double-sided 8.5x11 dot grid paper and a card stock cover. I folded the stack in half and made it a staple-bound 8 page booklet with a cover. I made about 20-40 booklets and gave them out to whoever wanted to try it along with me.
I took a few giant 3M sticky sheets and made that into a giant notebook with no markings. I taped this up on one of the walls and demonstrated while inviting others to do the same in their little makeshift sample notebooks.
Edit: thinking back, I think it was plain non-sticky flip chart paper...
We watched Ryder Carroll's Tedx Talk first. Then, I lead everyone through a demo of setting things up for the first time. We went through the 5 minute quick intro that's shown at www.bulletjournal.com. That took a lot more than 5 minutes because it's all sped up footage while we're doing it realtime. And I'm explaining stuff and we're laughing at me fighting with my giant DIY notebook stuck to the wall which was clumsy and hilarious.
I brought some of my old planners/journals/log books (including my current one) and left them out on the table for everyone to see the evolution of my journals... whether or not they count as true Bullet Journals. =)
I had a great time. And I kept fielding questions from everyone in the following weeks. I got asked aside multiple times and was even invited out to tea/coffee for a real grilling =) by someone who was really taken by it and was really wanting to get into it.
I'm now doing a followup session later this month for people who missed it the first time around and heard about it, or people who had more questions, people who just want to catch up with everyone else on what we've done and how far we've gotten.
I didn't know if I wanted to reprise The Giant DIY Notebook because it's so cumbersome, but one person was near begging me to bring it back and demo it again =D
If you just need a large sheet of paper, have you considered butcher paper? Or a Post-It Easel Pad http://www.amazon.com/Post-Self-Stick-Easel-Inches-30-Sheet/dp/B00006IA9F?
