I'd try some sound-absorbing feet on your speakers. Most people will recommend sorbothane, but you can get away with simple rubber feet if you want to save some money. I bought a pack of these on Amazon, they did wonders raising my bookshelf speakers up and removing the vibration. Start with one on each corner, maybe two stacked.
Yeah, I bought a bigger pack of these so I could play with height, have been really happy with the results: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037MTEU0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Or a few pieces of spare wood to add as spacers,
Or spacers made specifically for potted plants... (pot risers) http://www.amazon.com/Potrisers-Invisible-32-supports-statuary/dp/B0037MTEU0
