>Power is a Chinese knock off company, their products are rated poorly on Amazon but ok.
Bro you are just straight lying through your teeth.
I have this, it's cheap, comes in different colors, and works great. Also, being a wired controller, I don't have to worry about batteries which is a huge plus for me.

I will say that the buttons aren't "extra" inputs so to speak, they just are additional buttons that can be mapped as duplicates from existing buttons, but mapping A and B to them has still worked well for me
Thanks for sharing. Great deal indeed. There's discounts on several other controllers too.
Another great deal if you're looking for a decent cheaper controller, the power A enhanced controller which has back pedals and is available for 2k

What about PowerA controller?

Get the game first then see what you have left over.
There have been multiple generations of XBox controller. The 360 controller IIRC is the first one that really came with Windows support out of the gate.
I'd check ebay for them. Here's a used wired one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/184637768986
There's been several revisions of it with the various consoles. Xbox of course, then 360 which I think had a version that would work on the PC, then XBox One which had a version with bluetooth, and now the XBox Series X/S (called the XBox Core controller). I think it was the XBox One that was first shipped with the ability to work with the PC out of the box, but I could be mistaken.
I currently have an xBox One controller. It uses a USB Micro cable, same as a lot of Cell Phones.
There's also the third party or knockoff ones. Power A for example, makes controllers that look pretty darned close to the Xbox controller but are cheaper:

$26. Comes with a detachable USB cable.
I use the 'PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox' and have not been disappointed. Grab it from Amazon... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08F44BR8H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_VKAJ0XWXVES3JCF34GZ5?psc=1
