We are in the same boat. Our RV came with a Winegard but it's reception quality is garbage and we haven't been able to use it. After doing some research my wife stumbled upon MobileMustHave.com and we just put in an order for this system :
along with a MIMO antenna that we can mount to the RV ladder. Looks like they don't sell the antenna anymore but you can find it on Amazon:

The plan is to mount this with a quick mount 25 ft mast to our ladder.
