If you’re still willing to try this out. You want this brand. Its pricy, and people claim they had success with this product in clearing out the infection or possibly suppressing it. I’m sure it wont hurt to take it except your pocket, i’d also take turkey tail mushrooms alongside. AHCC US just look for this brand on Amazon in Uk
I have not tried AHCC for Herpes personally although here’s a link if you want to give it a go (Amazon USA):
Premium Kinoko Platinum AHCC Supplement – 750mg of AHCC per Capsule – Supports Immune Health, Liver Function, Maintains Natural Killer Cell Activity – 60 Veggie Capsules
I just read a review on amazon of AHCC that really helped their back acne. I don’t have any personal experience with it. I was looking at it to get rid of a plantar wart. Don’t judge. It’s a supplement made from mushrooms.
https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Kinoko-Platinum-AHCC-Supplement/dp/B00HG0YZMG
It’s kind of pricey. This bottle has 60ct. You can find a 30ct bottle from the vitamin shope. It’s half the price.
If your female (or maybe even not?) you can also try DIM. And panthotenic acid. Good luck!
Alright guys.
So, I made it my mission for the last 2 months, since the pandemic hit and I was finally not working on my feet- to fix this problem for good.
It's been 64 days since I posted and got advice.
I think I finally found the solution to my problem. I started using a highly aggressive technique after years of derm appointments every 2-3 weeks, I've tried lazer a few times, tons of acids and creams. Using the q-tip freeze method. None of it REALLY worked.
I took a chance on this weird product I saw coming up when I searched wart on amazon (first link below) - essentially I read in reviews a few people were placing the tip on the wart and filling it up with liquid nitrogen - finally, I could really deep freeze these deep warts in a highly controlled way. It hurts, and the last 2-3 weeks of using this technique aggressively I can safely say they're pretty much gone, it feels like normal skin. 2 of them I froze again tonight, just to be safe - but at this stage I think it's about applying acids and healing.
Another recommendation I have is combining salicylic with 70% glycolic acid. If your skin is white above a wart- that's dead skin waiting to fall off. Salicylic will kinda remove it and kill it, but the glycolic will get most of the dead skin clean off. It's an Alpha-hydroxy acid so it only penetrates the first layer of your skin, unlike Salycilic which is a Beta-Hydroxy acid and while it's still a peel it delivers different results to your skin. Applying an alpha before a beta will lead to a super-peel effect, ideally alternating days.
I have 2 other warts on my other foot that are also basically gone, just probably need a little bit of time for the skin to properly regenerate. I also found duct tape helpful on and off like everyone else, but duct tape alone will not solve your problem, at least not for me. I have an autoimmune disease so getting rid of these motherfuckers has been the bane of my existence, so I also started a routine of immune boosters as well as one Anti-HPV supplement (clinically proven & expensive) just to cover my bases. Echinacea, garlic, elderberry, zinc, vitamin b/c supplement and lysine.
No clue if that correlated with things clearing up but I've only been taking immune boosters for 10 days so I'm going to attribute my success to the deep freezing. We're talking a solid 45 seconds, sometimes longer. This got rid of warts that have been on my feet for 3 years. Like I had fights with my ex about this 2 years ago, and I'd had them for a year before that. Disturbing, they haunt me. I'm too hot to have 9 warts!
Lmk if u have any questions lol.

Someone recommended this stuff. I thought it was my saving grace. I will say, it only works if you have little red dots and really do the work to get it exposed. Hurts badly but I used it multiple times on my hand and feet. It only works if you cover the whole area, and I had the wart on my toe grow back after using it 3x. It's a great supplemental acid, but isn't a cure-all. Works better to freeze it and then use this, or any bloodroot related acid. It might work better for newer warts, some of mine were toddlers.

"'The results are very encouraging,' Smith said. 'We were able to determine that at least three months of treatment is necessary but some need to extend that to six months. Since AHCC is a nutritional supplement with no side effects and other immune modulating benefits, we will be planning on using six months of treatment in our phase II clinical study to have consistent study treatment plan. This confirms our earlier preclinical research.'
"Ten women with persistent HPV infection received a once-daily oral dose (3 g) of AHCC for up to 6 months, and half of the participants achieved a negative result for HPV infection."

Edit: They supplements seem expensive and also be aware that x mg of mushroom does not = x mg of AHCC. Find something that gives you the amount of mg of AHCC and not mg of mushroom.
