I've heard that this product is good for small grain bills. You can add a large funnel to the top so you can pour 3-4 pounds in there (which is all you need for 1gal batches)
This is similar to the Country Living grain mill my family bought 20 years ago used. It's around $400 now, but worth the money.
This is a cast iron wheat grinder you can buy off Amazon for $30. It bolts to any flat surface.
Grinding grain only takes a few additional minutes and effort to produce one cup, which you can add to any bread recipe and make your own bread with.
This assumes you eat lots of bread.
I got the cheap mill You need to get washers for the bolts that hold the retainer bar on( Google grain mill mods). And when grinding it throws bits of grains around so I made a cover that covers the grinding wheels. This one has a cover over the grind wheels.
1.I heat water for mash and to pre heat it and for the mash so once that's done I re fill my kettle for my strike water.
2.I got this until I could buy a good grain mill.
3. Some people say a home depot paint strainer for BIAB.
4.Efficiency is about starch conversion.
5.Fermentation temperature is important so I would get a SCT 1000 $15 and you wire it up, A heat rope to keep it worm.
