No matter how many times you die, it still sucks.
The PrimeVerse Omnibus is a special edition of the best selling completed PrimeVerse trilogy, books 1-3, with a bonus, never before published short story.
⚠ If you like MMORPGs, TTRPGs, isekai anime, epic fantasy, and sarcastic, down-on-his-luck main characters, you'll love this triolgy. ⚠
For Hudson, the virtual world of PrimeVerse isn't all bad. It's beautiful; much nicer than overpopulated Earth. It almost feels like a vacation except for the volatile wildlife, lack of any amenities, and -- oh yeah -- the inability to log out.
Exploring the world, learning his class, and leveling skills is all fun and games until a powerful rogue player with a vendetta shows up to wipe out Hudson and his primitive tribe. Thrust into a conflict he didn't create, Hudson is forced into a cycle of respawning where he learns that even death can be used as a tool. So much for that vacation.
It's not like he signed up for this. Or even went willingly. but when life hands you lemons... use them to kill the dog-size spiders that are trying to eat your face.

PrimeVerse is a completed LitRPG trilogy that explores an uninhabited, newly created virtual world with game mechanics, no NPCs, and a whimsical MC who, despite being uploaded against his will, sets out to make the best of it.
Here are some recs for stuff I like that you don't necessarily see mentioned here very often. Including some non-litrpg, which would help explain the lack of mentions.
LITRPG
Primeverse Trilogy by R.K. Billiau. In a shitty future, people who die have their consciousnesses uploaded into a digital setting. It's meant to be a sort of afterlife, but people are the worst so there are always some who want to take over and screw everyone else. The main character and his companions are trying to stop that. Interesting system and story, and it really plays around with the respawning system in interesting ways.
Queen In The Mud by Maari. A human woman dies(?) and is reborn in a fantasy world as a smallish humanoid salamander. Using her wits, her magical abilities and her mighty tail she makes a home first for herself and then for others she takes in.
Dungeon Bunny by Richard J. Hansen. There's a dungeon, see, full of traps and monsters. And there are some bunnies who live near the entrance, mostly to serve as color and food for the monsters. But one bunny decides that's not enough. She's going to learn magic and explore the dungeon herself!
NON LITRPG
We Are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis Taylor. A man has his consciousness uploaded into a space probe. He's supposed to only do what his owners tell him, but he takes over the probe and decides he wants to explore. So he makes many copies of himself and puts them into their own probes, and together they find some really interesting stuff.
Dungeon Explorers by Anthony James. Very much inspired by gaming fiction even though it's not litrpg. A high level wizard and thief wander through an underground complex, exploring and looting and blowing the crap out of everything that gets in their way. In the second book they add a young but talented fighter to their crew.
Grog by RW Krpoun. A half-orc gladiator slave who is not nearly as dumb as he thinks he is is purchased by an elven sorceress to provide muscle on a quest to save the kingdom. It's an interesting take on a classic adventuring story, told from the point of view of a character who usually doesn't get the spotlight.
