this is the exact one I have, the koi. however i’m pretty sure i over paid and any of the other 1.5mm rollers would work, but I have to say this one hasn’t broke or anything for 2 yrs so it is solid

I just searched on amazon and found one with good reviews. This is the one I have, just for reference. I have this in the 1.5mm option. Here are a few tips just from me and my own experience:

1. There are different needle lengths that range from like .25mm all the way up to 2mm. The tiny needles are what people use on their faces. However, you really need the bigger needles for your body. I use a 1 or 1.5 on my body and the needles are still tiny. It's not scary. You can feel it, but it doesn't *hurt*.
2. I found this video to be really helpful when I was first planning on using a dermaroller-- this isn't me, but I liked her tips and how she showed using the roller in a bunch of different directions.
3. I've been using a bunch of skincare items as well. I already had them (except the centella) and they're all good for your skin and anti-aging. However, if you're starting from scratch, I see the HA and Vitamin C cited most of the time for what people use with dermarolling. I've been using hyaluronic acid (HA), Vitamin C suspension, Copper Peptides, Retinoids, resveratrol and ferulic acid, and centella. All my things are The Ordinary brand except the centella which I bought on Amazon. I saw someone on reddit mention they used it for loose skin so I bought it too, cause why not? I've also been adding collagen gel on the area that I'm concerned about loose skin and using a snail mucin moisturizer on top of it all.
4. With the bigger needles, you're not supposed to use your roller very frequently because the healing part is the part that is helpful to you. I think for a 1mm, it was like 3 weeks, 1.5 was 4 weeks and 2mm was 6 weeks. I just do it once a month. For my boobs, I may not follow my own advice and I may try to use it slightly more frequently-- I'll be my own guinea pig here.
