In my excitement to make my first mix, I made a small error.... My order arrived from Nic River today, I ripped everything open, opened ejuice me up, and began mixing. Halfway through, I went to reach for the PG and realized, I ordered 2 VGs and no PG! CRAP!
The original recipe calls for a 30/70 PG/VG mix. As my flavors are PG, a good portion of the PG is covered by those, I played with the calculator a bit and found that if I go to a 17/83 PG/VG mix, I can pretty much eliminate the use of PG because the calc shows I will need .42 grams to hit the 17/83 mix.
TPA Kentucky Bourbon 2%
FA Kiwi 4%
TPA Toasted Marshmallow 2%
I found this PG on Amazon, anything I should be weary of?
Long explanation short, can I just fill the rest of my bottle with VG and it not be horrible??
If it's this it is listed as 99.9% USP Food grade, so it would be good. Also, the second image says that the packaging may vary.
I got this stuff which is food grade. I ordered some essential depot PG now to see if that's the fix. Would the PG be making the mixes taste dry?
Maybe! I got a plain old bottle of straight PG on Amazon, seems to work okay. Flavor is thinner than I'd like so I probably will go with terpenes at some point. Maybe some steam is condensing in your e-juice and causing stuff to seize?
VG is just vegetable glycerin. You can get it by the gallon at the grocery store.
PG is Propylene Glycol. Here's an Amazon link. If you use a different source, make sure it's food grade.
I've shot plenty of subs myself I know how that shit goes. But there's no rush to shooting alp trust me I've shot enough to know lol. I'm just saying you can get a liter of pg for like $12 on amazon though if you wanna shoot some more alprazolam harm reduction in a way
As I understand, PG is 100% PG and you mix that with distilled water. PG creates a natural film and regulates at 70% rh. If you're trying to make your own Boveda then you're on your own.
I bought this and am happy: [link]
Make some yourself, I used 5ml of USP grade propylene glycol (1 ingridient in e juice) [link] and 1 gram of conentrate. Heat your pg in a pyrex dish or something similar, get the liquid up to 140 degrees f. then drop in your dabs in small pieces, the dabs will slowly melt and stir the hell out of the liquid. Keep stirring until you are certain it's mixed well. It should be a golden honey liquid color. after you have mixed and give time for the pg and dabs to mix, take the mix off of the heat and let it cool. Fill up your ecig tank and put the rest in a ejuice bottle.
You will need food grade PG ([link]) which will last you awhile. ... along with a good scale or a trusty vendor so you can properly volumetrically dose. You will also need to find out how many ML per spray your bottle does and factor that into the volumetric dosing. If have to question any of this then I would not even attempt.
The juice is too thick. Any way you could get propylene glycol to thin out your mixture?
Meh I just saw this right after I made a post, perhaps it would be more appropriate here. Has anybody ever used this PG or VG?
Is it any good for making juice?
You can buy propylene glycol from Amazon:
As LSD mentioned you can get food grade PG for cheap on Amazon such as here. Typically those vape shops will rip you off price-wise but it is the same stuff.
I bought this one multiple times:
32 OZ, pretty cheap and Food Grade USP
This is the best suggestion. Here's what I do: Order PG from Amazon: [link] @ $12.99 for 32 Oz
And order pure menthol crystals: [link] @ $8.92 for 4 Oz
Weigh out 2.2 g (0.078 Oz) of menthol crystals and dissolve them into the 32 Oz (0.95 L). This will give you a 15 mM menthol e-juice that causes optimal activation of TRPM8 (the ion channels that respond to menthol). For me, there is no need for nicotine and this juice produces a nice throat hit without harshness. The taste is a nice menthol with a very subtle sweetness. If you go higher with the concentration, you will notice that the taste becomes gradually more bitter.
I use this as my standard day vape and I often use it to mix up with more complex juices (typically 1:1 or 1:2 depending on the strength of the juice). It improves the taste of even the worst juice you may have bought...
Thanks I'll try that in the morning. Bought this stuff too and that's even to thick so suck up with the syringe
Propylene Glycol - Food Grade USP - 1 Quart (32 Oz.) [link]
Did I buy the wrong VG/PG? My ejuice smells and tastes like plastic, vapes OK just tastes off. Like a plastic or chemical, kinda hard to say exactly how it tastes.
I just copied a recommended dessert flavor recipe to the t and steeped it for 5 days (no light, shook vigorously twice daily).
I smelled the VG and PG in the bottles they came in and didn't notice any smell at all. All the flavors smell like I'd expect them to.
I'd assume it's just the bottle I mixed it in, but I put some juice I bought in an identical bottle and it tastes/smells fine.
I'm glad I'm not alone at least, lol. Does yours also start after a while of vaping (30-90min) rather than immediately?
No unicorns, I am using the bottles in the link below.
Let see if we can find commonality, I am using:
This is all the same ingredients I use to make regular flavored juice. The only difference is instead of adding 5.1ml of flavor and 0.8ml of PG I'm, adding 6ml of PG.
But, it's honestly super easy. This is all you really need.
choose from 60ml or 30ml dropper bottles i messed up and bought the blue color ones cant see through them very well lol , I linked some clear ones but u can look for everything on amazon.
You do realise that 0 nic ejuice is just this stuff with food flavouring added?
4-AcO-DMT is unstable in water, don't use that. Propylene glycol is better.
Order some alprazolam powder from Oxymorpheus (evo... he's my go to guy, might be out of stock for a week or 2 though) or JimmyTheGent (spelling? but heard good things about his stuff) and volumetrically dose it into a solution of PG ([link]) in a dropper bottle ([link]) so that one drop = 1 mg or whatever you prefer.... I believe there is a FAQ on volumetrically dosing on /r/drugs (sorry I'm lazy you can find it yourself using that search thingy haha).
Thanks for clarifying... I should have been more clear... I use [link]
This is all you need for the mouth piece lubricant too: [link]
Something can be USP meaning it is also suitable for food usage... herp de derp.
[link], not local but much easier.
