You have too much time on your hands. Social media is probably the last place you should spend your time on. How about going to work? If you can't find work right now, why not volunteer at the place you'd like to work & show them what you're capable of. They might end up hiring you eventually. If they don't, you'll have gained experience & then you can apply elsewhere. Everything is like a sport-the more you do it the better you become at it. Wanna stop a bad habit, then stop. If you fail, try again and again and again and again. Imagine if all humans had given up on trying to walk after falling too many times? Everyone on earth would be crawling...
Just a suggestion that might bring you closer to your dreams-if you still have any.
I read this book when I was about 16, I highly recommend it:
Even outside of the "woo" aspect, scientific data confirm the efficacy of creative visualization/imagining. Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxell Maltz, M.D. is a great example, and basically builds on Neville's techniques in a scientifically "rational" way.
"Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz is a classic success book, many other books that came after it stole its ideas. Like the "Law of Attraction" that is just a simplification of it with added woo-woo.
It's about power of visualization. Adding 5-10 minutes of visualization to your day can really help you in making improvements. From my experience it really works if you approach it realistically (no woo-woo and unrealistic expectations). The hard part is to spend those 10 minutes on doing it ;)
Imagining yourself as a millionaire on a yacht with teen girls is cringe, but visualizing yourself taking initiative in stressful, day-to-day situations that you encounter can help you make breakthroughs.
The one I reccomend the most is Psychocybernetics, it's a book about having a positive mental self-image.

how about you read this instead to learn it's all about self image my man
Yes, I recommend reading the updated and expanded edition of the book, as Furey has a lot of additional commentary in there that helps clarify and add to Maltz's wisdom (I usually do not like "expanded" versions of classics, but this is an exception). Furey's audio series [Theatre of the Mind](https://www.amazon.com/Theatre-of-Mind-Matt-Furey-audiobook/dp/B00OH7EBPW\) is good, too.

Phsyco Cybernetics: Maxwell Maltz
I picked and read this book because of Andy mentioning 'quantum and metaphysics' (@ 1:20:18) on that episode. I knew nothing about quantum physics, manifestating or anything that they were talking about...I thought it was all woo-woo shit tbh, lol.
But it piqued my interest enough to find an entry point book into those topics, and this book was it for me. Plain English speak with actionable exercises that I still do to this day, and I now have the basis to dwelve deeper into this topic. Dr Joe Dispenza used to go over my head, but I can now comprehend some of his teachings.
May suit you as it ties into Atomic Habits in some ways, that Identity part - Identity builds habits (or something like that, I've forgot).

The guy who popularized the modern use of what we call 'affirmations' was a plastic surgeon who had a patient who was horribly disfigured in an automobile accident. He made her face beautiful again but when she looked in the mirror she saw an ugly person. He helped her see her own beauty again.
> a person must have an accurate and positive view of him- or herself before setting goals; otherwise he or she will get stuck in a continuing pattern of limiting beliefs. His ideas focus on visualizing one's goals and he believes that self-image is the cornerstone of all the changes that take place in a person. According to Maltz, if one's self-image is unhealthy or faulty — all of his or her efforts will end in failure.
I recently started wearing a tie every day even though no one around me does. People treat me better, I feel more like myself when I wear a tie so I'll keep doing it because I like it.
