Papayas a fruit aint it? And if it is dont feed em that! They eat meat they may like the sugary taste but their stomachs dont causing health issues, and for the squeaking and hissing its just her wanting it, my ferret hisses when i steal her toys. Okay, nice. That’s nice to hear because the kitten feels more safe in there if there’s a blanket over the trap. Also like someone else said that sardines would help lure the cat and if you have the chance grill the sardines so the smell goes wider and maybe lures the kitten closer. Or something else like tuna or for example my cat’s love shrimps just wash them in warm water so they are not so salty. But maybe something really smelly cat food. Do you have a petstore near you or grocery store or some store that has animal supplies/food maybe you could ask them more advice what would be the best food. Also there is catmilk specially made for kittens I think it was the brand whiskas but there’s probably something similar it’s meant for young cats/kittens. But even my cats like it. Also there’s this dried chicken bits from the brand itsy bitsy and my cat’s are crazy for it maybe if you have it in some petstore ??
